Biography

BK-One's love of music has been a lifelong affair. From an early age, he studied classical piano and jazz theory, taught himself to play the vibraphone, and began collecting records. After moving to Minneapolis in 1996, BK… Read more in Amazon's BK-One Store

5.0 out of 5 stars Incredible Cd -- Amazing Beats and Lyrics, October 8, 2009

I cant believe that I am the first person to post a review for this album. Is everyone overlooking this great release?

I don't know what to say about it other than that it is very original and the beats have a smooth south american sound and the variety of mcs on this album adds to the experience.

I hardly ever right reviews, but this album is truly fresh

Soothing, fresh, kicked back Brazilian-based beats. Top-notch emcees. A Rhymesayers after-hours on the beach. Just get this already.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing collaborative album, October 8, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This album highlights some of the best artists in the genre, in a diverse setting that BK-One dominates.

I'll leave this review short, because the album speaks for itself. If you like any of the artists (and how can you not like Black Thought?) on any track, you need to buy this album.
