Better known as Brother Ali's DJ, BK-One takes his years of experience as a DJ and puts on his producer hat joining forces with up and coming Twin Cities beatsmith Benzilla, to craft a Brazilian musical bed for some of Hip Hop's most engaging MC's. Radio Do Canibal features performances by Scarface, Slug (Atmosphere), Black Thought (The Roots), Brother Ali, Raekwon (Wu-Tang Clan), Murs (Living Legends), Haiku D'Etat (Aceyalone, Myka 9 & Abstract Rude), Blueprint, P.O.S. (Doomtree), The Grouch (Living Legend), I Self Devine, Toki Wright, Aby Wolf & The Hypnotic Bass Ensemble.

I cant believe that I am the first person to post a review for this album. Is everyone overlooking this great release?

I don't know what to say about it other than that it is very original and the beats have a smooth south american sound and the variety of mcs on this album adds to the experience.

I hardly ever right reviews, but this album is truly fresh

This album highlights some of the best artists in the genre, in a diverse setting that BK-One dominates.

I'll leave this review short, because the album speaks for itself. If you like any of the artists (and how can you not like Black Thought?) on any track, you need to buy this album.

This album should be on every Hip Hop head's essentials list. I have to say this was a refreshing turnaround for me after being hugely disappointed by the Felt 3 album. BK-One's beats were solid all the way through and every featured emcee KILLED it! I loved the varying song tempos and arrangements because they forced the artists to come up with creative rhyme patterns, resulting in a diverse listening experience. Favorite tracks are "Gittit" (feat. Slug and Brother Ali), "Philly Boy" (feat. Black Thought), "A Days Work' (feat. POS)and "Here I Am" (feat. Phonte, Brother Ali, and The Grouch), but seriously every track is hot in it's own way. This album will not disappoint...

Soothing, fresh, kicked back Brazilian-based beats. Top-notch emcees. A Rhymesayers after-hours on the beach. Just get this already.

This album features a lot of great mc's such as Black Thought, Slug, Murs, Etc.. with the beats from a Brazilian DJ. Had this in my wish list for almost a year and didn't know how it got there but glad I finally decided to make the purchase.
