I recently purchaed a Rosle ladle. I am very pleased with it and I admire the craftsmanship that was put into this ladle. It is a superior quality product. The stainless steel is among the best. I certainly recommend this product to anyone. If you want the best go with Rosle. Its also dishwasher safe. Tony Casacli

Well, mine has a sticker on it that clearly reads "Made In Germany" so if that is a big sticking point for you, rest assured. Besides that, who goes online to write a review about a ladle?! Well, this is a beautiful item. I was wary because it is expensive and I don't like to spend a lot if I can get the same quality for less money... But I was tired of my "cheap" ladles that dripped all over the side of the cup when ladling out hot chocolate. This ladle really does have a pouring rim that eliminates that mess. Sometimes it pays to pay more for a better product!

Rosle has a reputation for top quality, but until I stumbled on a 4-for-3 Amazon deal I didn't give myself permission to test that reputation. I'm glad I bought this, however. The construction is beyond "sturdy;" I think I could hammer nails with this thing. There's no seams, so there's no way that this ladle can fall apart. I'm sure I'll have it for 30 years. Also, it looks good (in a functional way -- I'm not saying I'd be tempted to use it as a formal serving spoon). The pouring rim *does* make it easier to use, and I the hook keeps the ladle from going kerPLUNK into the stock pot.
