This item although expressly and impliedly advertised that it is Made in Germany is actually made in China. The item is generally of a very poor quality. I would not buy it for the price advertised and I am trying to get my money back

Nice, but the price!,

The Rosle tea strainer is as advertised. A very fine mesh strainer and well made. All but the finest bits of some ground English Breakfast Tea were caught in the strainer. This particular tea blows right through an infuser basket. Regular tea leaves are no problem.
The Stainless steel is easy to maintain but industrial looking. Not particulary attractive as a table accessory. The price for this item is very steep for what you get. A table caddy with a drip tray might make it a better value. A lot fo a little strainrr.

Top Quality,
This review is from: Rösle 95158 Tea Strainer, Fine Mesh (Kitchen)
As with every Rosle product I have ever bought, this is top quality. It is made of stainless steel throughout, so it won't rust away like my previous strainer. The handle and lip are neatly and securely welded to the main part of the strainer. (The other reviewer who said it was poor quality appears to be motivated by a bias against Chinese-made products).
The design makes for secure placement on top of a tea cup, so you don't have to hold the strainer while you are pouring the tea. It looks elegant too, assuming you don't dislike modern design. Even though it's a tea strainer, it's about the right size for use as a general purpose sieve. I'll be using it mostly to keep ice shards out of my martinis. Rosle utensils ARE expensive. I justify the expense by knowing that I will most likely never have to buy the same utensil again.

This tea cup strainer did not meet my expectations. I was hoping it would be a little deeper so it would seep better in my tea cup. The concept is nice, but the use factor is not worth the purchase.

This is the best tea strainer yet! The mesh is fine enough to catch even the smallest of particles from my teas... even my herbal teas.

Works good, lasts a long time is a saying I picked up while in the navy which applies to this product.
