While this MCA product offers up just ten selections, all are original renditions with excellent sound quality, and containing a few which can be categorized as "hard-to-finds" among collectors.

The chart performances for the ten sides are: It's All Right by The Impressions (# 1 R&B/# 4 Hot 100 in late 1963 on ABC-Paramount 10487); Wear It On Our Face by The Dells (# 27 R&B/# 44 Hot 100 in summer 1968 on Cadet 5599); We're Gonna Make It - Little Milton (# 1 R&B/# 25 Hot 100 in spring 1965 on Checker 1105); There'll Come A Time by Betty Everett (# 2 R&B/# 26 Hot 100 in early 1969 on Uni 55100); How Can I Tell My Mom And Dad? by The Lovelites ( 15 R&B/# 60 Hot 100 in late 1969 on Uni 55181 after first being released on Lock 723); Jealous Kind Of Fella by Garland Green (# 5 R&B/# 20 Hot 100 in late summer 1969 on Uni 55143); Everlasting Love by Carl Carlton (# 6 Hot 100/# 11 R&B AND # 15 Adult Contemporary uin fall 1974 on BAck Beat 27001); Rescue Me by Fontella Bass (# 1 R&B for 4 weeks/# 4 Hot 100 in fall 1965 on Checker 1120); Hold On by The Radiants (# 25 R&B/# 68 Hot 100 in spring 1968 on Chess 2037) and Swing Your Daddy by Jim Gilstrap (# 10 R&B/# 55 Hot 100 in early 1975 on Roxbury 2006.

There are no liner notes, but even so this isn't a bad bargain at the price being asked, with several of the selections falling into the hard-to-find category.
