Good Fun, but Levels 22 to 24...Very Hard.,

While R.C. Pro AM looks deceptively easy, it is a very hard game to play, especially in the second half of the 24 level loop. After 24 levels, it's technically impossible to beat the computer players, and there is no point anyway in continuing because the game never ends. It's just a constant loop, and only game genie will help you out if you care to indulge in further game play. Pressing B constantly makes the car to move, and pressing A is to fire either splinter to a car in front of you or a gas fart to a car in the back of you. I know everybody complains that the orange car is ridiculously fast (you will absolutely thank the car in level 24; he is your true salvation), but honestly, I find it the most useful part in beating a few of the levels because I want a quicker end while retaining the top 3 during the race. And also, honestly, winning every race isn't that as important as surviving in the top 3 in every race and moving on to the next level. I will teach you how to beat the game as completing the first 24 levels constitutes that. First of all, forget about firing against any car; just stockpile them up because if you start firing against one car or two, the orange car will actually speed up and finish first regardless of what happens. From levels 14 to 20, occasionally, you may fire on the cars just for the sake of surviving in the top 3. But it is absolutely imperative that you keep it loaded with 99 fires and make it to be set in the front. Level 22 will start testing your absolute patience and endurance. You must fire at the blue car every chance you get in order to survive in the top 3. Then, the same thing again in level 23 at any car as possible in order to stay ahead. Finally, level 24 which is the hardest of all levels...it's the ultimate endurance test of R.C. Pro AM (Yes, I beat it after so many attempts). Absolutely...without a question, you must immediately fire at the green car as soon as the race starts and then get ahead of it. This is where the endurance level comes in...I tell you...this is a very, very hard level. You must keep firing at the green car every chance it passes you, or else, the game is over for you. Make sure you preserve the ammo. There is virtually no chance of catching up with everybody else, no matter how hard you try. If you lose, do not fire any more and just save them for the continuation of the next race. At the beginning of the game, I absolutely suggest a game genie and put in the code of either AAEIPPPA or AASIUAPA for infinite continues. Since the computer players are going to cheat, you might as well use this code for fair play. Lastly, if you run out of any fires during level 24, the game is over for you. You must start all over again and continue to stockpile them to 99. It's the ONLY way to win. Elsewhere, I wished R.C. Pro AM allowed two players to race in the same race. That's the biggest disappointment of the game. All in all, R.C. Pro AM is a good fun for a while, but it really is a very difficult game in the last three levels. It will test you very well in terms of endurance and patience.

This game is just as much fun today as it was when I was a small elementary school boy. It is also very tough, and the buttons are brutal on your fingers, but the game is a blast and makes the pain well worth it!
