Author Malcolm Bobbitt begins with the ancestry of the Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit and Silver Spur by tracing their history to the Silver Shadow, and the history of the Bentley Mulsanne to the Bentley T models, both of which go back to 1965. From there, Bobbitt dives into each new model's 1980 introduction, its preceding development and their eventual evolution through 1998, the final year for the Silver Spur, Silver Spirit and Mulsanne models. Also included is advice on purchasing these cars, as well as club information, production figures and specifications regarding the automobiles. About the Author
Malcolm Bobbitt has a lifelong interest in motor transport. In addition to contributing to various magazines, he is the author of thirty books, some printed in several languages, with subjects ranging from Bubblecars and Microcars, Motorhomes and British Polices Vehicles to marque histories of Citro\u00ebn, Fiat, Rolls-Royce, Rover and Volkswagen.

This is a great follow-up to Bobbitt's first edition on the Silver Shadow. Useful history and ownership information is provided. However, there is a caveat for Bentley enthusiasts: Contrary to the cover's sub-title, there is NO coverage of the Bentley Azure in this book.

As I have all the other books in this series I added this title to my collection.This enlarged and revised edition is superb.A comprehensive guide to Silver Spirit,Silver Spur,Mulsanne,Eight,Continental,Turbo R,Brooklands,and Azure.This book will impress.Its published by "Veloce Publishing" and it maintains their high standards.
Plenty of colour and b&w photos throughout and detailed/factual text make this the best book on these models.A worthwhile investment and addition to any book collection.
