**EDITED REVIEW**
I had the product for two years now along with multiple other products for my 4 labradors.

I would reccomend the ChuckIt! line of balls. They have held up under the force of my pack of labradors better than many other products. The glow in the dark model is awesome for playing catch at night in the backyard before settling down for bed.

ChuckIt! Medium Ultra Balls 2.5-Inch, 2-Pack

They sell a Virtually Indestructible Ball for dogs. It is basically a VERY HARD plastic ball that is somewhat like a childs bowling ball play set. These are not the best for playing catch or a dog who brings them into a house since they clunk loudly on wooden floors, ceramic tiles, or the wall but they do survive a lot of play in the backyards.

Virtually Indestructible Best Ball for Dogs, 4.5-inch

**ORIGINAL REVIEW**

BACKGROUND
I own several labradors. If anyone has seen the film "Marley & Me" then you will understand what type of dogs I have in my care. For everyone else, lets say they are very destructive. They are able to tear up tennis balls in a matter of seconds.

APPEARANCE & MAKE
The sprong line of toys have a weird texture to them. I would describe the feel as the feeling of velvet due to the soft fuzzy feel. There are multiple shapes as well as multiple sizes.

RELIABILITY
My labradors have had an assortment of shapes and sizes for several weeks now to break in.

My Doberman puppy had this toy for 10 minutes when the coating started to come off. Not long after that the squeaker was broken. This is by far the most disappointing toy I have bought my puppy. I contacted customer service for the company and they said with normal play these thing would happen. Understandably, these things would happen over time, but 10 minutes? This is not worth your money.

The dog loved this toy. Right from the box, she loved it. And she destroyed it in less than 30 minutes. Durability is a complete zero. Likability by the dog is an A++. I will probably buy another one.

While this may float... it's NOT a water toy. It falls apart in the water - literally. It's a horrible toy.

I bought this ball and it has been nothing but trouble! I had it into the shop for major repairs last week and it's back again this week! My dog needs a ball it can count on to get from play to play.

Covered in a velvet like material that comes right off. Played fetch for a few minutes and my hand was covered in that crap. Foam toy got shredded in about 10 minutes. Little pieces of foam everywhere. Had to throw it away because my boston puppy was trying to eat the little foam pieces. Probably the worst dog toy I have ever bought.

I recently purchased the Sprong Hex dog toy for our 1 year old puppy. It seemed like the shape and texture she loves in toys. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that it was made out of such a fragile material. She is a small 10lb dog who is not a big chewer and she started biting off and eating the foam within an hour of getting it. This seems like a really dangerous toy for dogs because she could have choked. The warning on the back is small and vague. I just thought I'd pass it along so maybe others can be warned about this product. I was sad to have spent money on a toy that became unusable within 1 hour.

I have a young border collie who is toy obsessed and this is one of his favorite balls. It's soft enough that I can throw it indoors and not worry about anything breaking.

He isn't a chewer, and I could see how the ball wouldn't be good for a chewer. But he carries this thing around in his mouth and squeaks it over and over and it's still in great condition....and I bought it months ago! If he started to chew on it I'd put it up and use it as a supervised toy only.
