This mount is well built. I liked the idea of the foam filled weather proof box. I have only used this mount one time on a recent trip to Florida. I couldn't see the screen on my Garmin except later in the day. I don't know if it is the Garmin wasn't bright enough or I didn't have the gps pressed tight enough against the soft screen of the mount. I would say my problem is more with the Garmin GPS brightness than the mount. One thing to think about, the gps must generate some heat and this mount is pretty well air tight. I bought the standard clamp type holder for this mount just in case I don't get this one to work to suit me. A small plastic bag will probably do the same thing on the standard clamp holder. Again, I think my problem is with the brightness with my gps, not the mount. If it wasn't for that I would rate it a five star.

Got this so I could use my Droid X in an Otterbox Defender Case on my motorcycle for Pandora, Spotify, GPS Navigation, etc. I got a right angle USB cord and a headphone extension cord with an inline volume control to use with it. Even had room to throw in my Boostaroo headphone amp! Works great, no leaks, infinitely adjustable. In no way secure even if you lock it...all you'd have to do is loosen the RAM arm and pop the case off. No biggie for me - I always take my phone with me. Found a nifty speedometer app for android that is way more accurate than my DR650's mechanical speedo, which is also helpful.

This is a very cool and functional product. The mount itself is easily installed and the adjustment of the box to rider is almost infinite so any size rider can enjoy this on any bike.
The inside the box mounting material is a bit tricky to make work with a Garmin 650 style with the antenna that sticks up but working with one of the guys from Semsons and Co we did finally figure it out.
Semsons was very helpful and a pleasure to work with. I will use them again if the need comes up.
