Product Description

The RAM marine grade aluminum mount with zinc coated U-Bolt rail adaptor base includes a 1'' diameter ball and socket system with RAM plastic cradle for the Apple iPod. The holder will fit all generations of the Apple iPod with the exception of the 20GB generation 2 and will not block any functions or connections on the iPod. The rail adaptor base will fit circular rails from .75" to 1" in diameter. Manufactured in the USA and comes with RAM Lifetime Warranty.

I just bought my first iPod to use while biking but didn't like the hassle of having to try and get it out of my pocket while riding so I did a lot of searching and came across this mounting system, and boy am I glad. With the adjustable arm, it will mount virtually anywhere on your handlebars or center bar and not be in the way of other stuff. I can now change songs, adjust volume, etc. without digging in my pocket and hoping I don't drop my iPod.

I bought this with the intent of using this on my road bike versus using the arm band setup. This thing came in the mail and it weights at least a pound. This is probably a good getup if you didnt have a lightweight racing road bike. So I am returning this back to Amazon for a refund.
