We purchased this to go with our Humminbird 998c Si Side-Imaging Fishfinder. We were a little concerned about the construction of the mount because we did not want to see our Humminbird Fishfinder fall off and take the plunge of death into the water. Our worries went away quickly when we received the box and noticed how much the mount weighed. It is made of heavy aluminum and once you install it on your boat - it is going to stay there without question. The fishfinder attaches to the mount with heavy duty screws/bolts. You can unloosing the knobs and adjust the viewing angle. There are no vibrations of wiggling. This probably the best mount available right now, it is even recommended by Humminbird.

This unit sells for almost $100 any place else, Amazon by far has it listed for the best price with free shipping ($79 when I purchased it).

This exceeded my expectations for the mount. It is much more stable than you could expect. Mounted my HDS10 on this Ram mount and it is rock solid. The only complaint was that I had to drill 2 extra holes to mount the graph. I drilled them in the graph base and not the ram mount but was not difficult and has given me what I was looking for. I may buy the longer version to mount on the bow of the boat.

This is a SERIOUS RAM mount. Designed for the largest two of Humminbird's 998c, 1198c or Lowrance's HDS8 or HDS10.
It will hold up in rough seas.

I bought this few months ago but installed just now. Very good quality, I recommend to all. If I will need to buy another holder RAM will be first to look

I have the Humminbird 998SI C sonar for this mount. The mount is way more than is needed for a graph this size. I could have gotten by with a less massive mount.

I searched different style mounts for my new Hummingbird 898c si, I could'nt fit the factory gimbel mount to the limited space on my boat. I came up with this mount and what a "HOG." Heavy duty is no joke. I will be getting another for my next upgrade to the bow mount. No disappointment here-I guarantee you'll be happy.

This mount is an excellent piece of equipment. I am not worried about it falling apart. Heavy duty and you won't have to worry about losing your high dollar electronics in the water.

I needed to mount a Humminbird 1198c on my boat, but did not have a flat place that would accommodate the factory mount and still allow good visibility. The RAM mount solved that problem. It is a quality made solid product. I would not hesitate to buy another product from RAM.

This RAM mount with the large base and ball seems to be doing its job in holding up the Lowrance HDS-10. Like the degrees of freedom for viewing with this setup.

Actually heavy and heavy duty. Very nicely made. Surprised that the clam shell plates and the flat mount were die cast not stamped sheet metal. Huge adjusting handle on a through mounted 1/2" bolt! Very rigid indeed. Worked perfectly to hold my large sonar/gps combo. Highly recommended.
