When mounted in my car this thing acts as if it is mounted via bolts, not suction cup to the windhshield. No vibration or slippage at all. I can press buttons without having to support the device at the same time. This thing is much, much better than anything garmin has to offer.

It's not compact but the reach this unit offers really makes it easy to find a good position for the not so small gps underneath a sloped windshield and once installed doesn't look too big relative to the dash of the car.

My only complaint is that removing the gps from the mount is a two hand affair, not easy at all. You have to pry the 2 wings away from each other to allow the gps to slide out of the bracket. When I want to stow the gps when parked I just remove the whole assembly from the windshield. That makes for a bit more work when setting the thing back up.

This unit did everything it was supposed to. I have two other types of mounts and this really was the most versital. If I had to complain about anything, it would be the some what difficulty in getting the GPS into the holder. It was very easy to position and reposition. It tilted easily, held the expensive GPS very safely. At first the thought the price was a little high but now I think it was right on the money and was a very worthy purchase.

Good suction. Swivels in all directions. Stays put. Easy removal.

It is practical and portable. I like the convenience of being able to place it in any car, as it is not a permanent mount. It is a little hard to place/remove the GPS in the mount, however.

Very well constructed, all parts are included, but you need to have some mechanical inclination to put it together as there are no hints or help. What bugs is removing the GPSr from the mount is difficult, requires two hands and somewhere along the line, one gets the feeling that the plastic is gonna snap. I use and remove GPSr frequently for geocaching purposes, so it's especially irritating. I feel better about the sturdiness as I go off-roading frequently and this mount will keep my GPSr in the Jeep and not flying around or out the window.

The RAM suction mount is great! The suction on it is pretty powerful - it attaches to a window and holds on very tightly. The ball joints make it really easy to adjust your GPS unit to basically any position you choose. This product is awesome.

This product works perfectly on my center console boat. It attaches to my Garmin GPSMaps 76CSx and with the extra strong suction cup, I can attach it to the center console or to the console's windshield. Holds up very well even in rough seas. The multi-positonal arm is very durable also a plus for this item.

I was looking to adapt my marine Garmin into a city navigator, and what a surprise! I got it. I am very happy with I have found. I like the mounting system and the cord too. It's great!

Another awesome product from Ram mounts.
Mounted(suctioned) to my center console with my garmin 76CX and it worked
flawlessly.No shaking, never lost suction. Held Gps in place, easier to read the garmin now.
Thinking of adding the suction mount to a rod holder. My only issue
with Ram mounts is it is very costly to purchase their configurations.
Although, they actually do work, so is it worth the extra $$. You be the judge.

This holds the gps very well, but I wish I had ordered the ring mount instead of the suction mount. The suction works well most of the time, if you have a real smooth surface and wet the cup a little. Also it tends to leave a ring on the fiberglass of my RZR. I will order the ring mount soon. Otherwise the product has held up well, I have put it to a good test for over a year now. Still holds the gps well with no vibration, and very adjustable for viewing.

Bought the Ram Mount to hold my GPS while traveling to my favorite ice fishing spots on the Saginaw Bay. Unit holds the GPS securely and does not vibrate while encountering the cracks or bumps on the ice.

Suction mount has a knob to allow easy removal from the mounting surface. I use it after each fishing trip to remove the GPS from the Argo plastic windshield and store it in the house.

Amazon price, including shipping, was very competitive. Delivery was right on schedule.

Would purchase again!
