I was skeptical at buying this at first thinking it would not fit or not hold on to the the window. I have to say, I am very pleased with it!! It does not pop off the window. That was what happened to our original mount that came with our Garmin. It flew off the window and across the dashboard ... ALL THE TIME!! then the last time if flew off, that was it, BROKEN. I did not want to order the same one only to have it happen again. I AM VERY HAPPY!!!CAN'T WAIT to go on our camping trips this summer!!!! :)

This window mount works great! It is made from heavy duty plastic and metal. It's easy to place suction cup on the windshield and then snap the GPS into place. It works perfectly with my Garmin 350.

This thing is great... I have been using it and it works beautifully in my truck and the wifes little Honda Civic... this really is a great device for having your GPS right in front of you guiding you on the way...Thanks Amazon for a great product...

Well.. all I can say it.. I bought this to use in my new 4runner... . but this thing is huge.....
and there is no way I can mount this anywhere without it being in the way ...

But it sure looks like it would hold up just about anything... maybe I can use it in the pickup instead...

This piece of equipment isn't sleek, it isn't compact, it isn't sexy. But, damn, it works just like it's supposed to. It's rock solid. It's easy to adjust. The Garmin fits in it like a glove. The suction mechanism works by throwing a lever, and let me tell you, once you throw the lever I actually believe the windshield would come off before the suction cup would (except when you're ready for it to). This devise is one of those rare exceptions in the retail world today: a product that is low on hyperbola and high on performance.

I bought this mount as a replacement to the one that comes with the Nuvi and found it to be "heavy duty" as I like to call it. It looks like it could hold 30 lbs to your windshield, it will never move, and it will never come off the windshield unless you want it to. It has a lever on the suction mount that goes from off to on and when its on, its on, and its not coming off like the old one. I have a 2007 Toyota 4runner and with a windshield so close to the front of the dash, I had to do a little maneuvering to get the long arm this comes with to look right. The tightening knobs lock it into the angle you want and you don't have to touch it again. You can go over any pothole in the world, and this thing will not move. I like the way the Nuvi fits into this, snug, and it even has a hooklike bracket that the power cord tucks away into. Great product but it is heavy duty looking, so if you don't want that look, this maybe too much for you.
