I have been using this product for 20 years. I have found no other that will work as well for dandruff causes by oily pores. Nizoral works better when I have dry skin, so, I keep both on hand.

For best results you must use as directed (wait time before rinse). Also, I recommend using an inexpensive shampoo first then you can apply a smaller amount of the Sebulex (needs less to lather after wash)

Fifteen years ago, a doctor suggested Sebulex to me for cradle cap and acne on my new born son. My son had my hormones and had minor acne on his nose and cheeks. I put it on my son for two minutes and rinsed. Both cleared up within two days.
Several days later I developed a minor Staph infection from being in the hospital. I got small acne bumps on my arms and legs. After a week with no luck and it only getting worse, I used the Sebulex I bought for my son. I left it on for ten minutes. My skin cleared up within two days.
I now swear by it. I use it on my face once a week for regular acne. I make my sons use it too. I recommend it to anyone who listens, and after using it, their acne clears up. I think it is the sulfur.
I get mine at a small town pharmacy who has it on the shelf. However, if you go to a big chain, you will have to ask the pharmacist for it and he may have to order it for you.

Sebulex Medicated Dandruff Shampoo is very effective. The main active ingredient is sulfur, which has an unpleasant odor, and Sebulex effectively masked the odor with a please scent. This shampoo left my hair manageable. It took several applications to start to control my dandruff. One drawback is its price. There are several other dandruff shampoos on the market with sulfur as the active ingredient, and they're much cheaper. Suave Dandruff Shampoo is much the same thing at less than a quarter of the cost.

The product had a more pleasant odor than the tar-based dandruff shampoos. It also seemed to be as effective and as convenient to apply. Hence, I'd purchase the product for daily use. However, I've found that during the course of long-term use, the performance of dandruff shampoos tends to decline. So I've found it necessary to rotate them.

Sebulex shampoo has helped me control my scalp psoriasis for years. I've tried other medicated shampoos and this is the one that works for me.

I had really bad dandruff and smelly hair syndrome caused by a bacteria. Within 2 days of use my dandruff was completely gone and within 2 weeks the bacteria was killed by the sulfur in this product. Does not smell like sulfur, this was a huge worry on my part. Would recommend this product all day long!!!!

I really enjoyed Sebulex Medicated Dandruff Shampoo. I first noticed that it's nice smelling, and that's important to me! After using it only twice, I noticed I had markedly less itching and flakes. I get dandruff only in the dry winter months, but I'll definitely buy this product in the future. I was very pleased with the outcome!

After over a year I have found something that stops the itching, bumps, sores, all in my hair. I have tried, Head and Shoulders (no help), Dermarest (helped some), Nizoral (no difference), Walgreen Therapeutic T Plus (Coal Tar - worse), Walgreens Salicylic acid (slight help). My head is totally clear after one month of using Sebulex Medicated Dandruff Shampoo (I noticed the difference after first use).
