How many kind of wine you can get in the world?, I guess the answer would be enormous numbers. How about cheese? wow that would also be enormous numbers. Regardless how you categorize it, at the end it's all link to taste, one of our senses. We can get another kind of senses, when we discuss about Rasa in music, particularly Javanese Music.
The book (RASA) elaborates multiple meaning of Rasa and open our mind to know how rich Javanese music with multiple kind of "taste" in musical aesthetics term. I love reading this book, that has enriched my understanding about Rasa (particularly in Javanese music), which is very hard to that kind written resource any where in the globe.
I hope aspects of vocal (bawa, sindhenan, gerongan, or chorus) to Rasa will be added in the future edition of this great book.
