The jacket itself is great. The quality of the leather is superb, the design and breathability of the jacket are unrivaled in the vast majority of riding jackets, especially for the wonderful price. While walking through the dorm, somebody said I looked exactly like Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) in it. It definitely has a sci-fi look to it, more so in real life than in the pictures. Also, if you're not a fan of mesh/leather combos, this jacket is definitely not for you. In the pictures, all dark areas are mesh - the lower chest and belly, inside of the arms, and the entire back, minus the top 6 inches or so. The pads (the main reason I got the jacket) are sub-par. It looks as though someone designed a completely amazing jacket, then randomly suggested adding pads to it - they just don't seem to "work" with the jacket. The pads are cheaply made, twist around slightly while riding, and are not quite flexible enough to be comfortable while walking. The pads are similar to the cheapest imaginable elbow pads a roller-blader would use, stuffed into the elbows and shoulders of the jacket. The back pad is just a larger version of the others. I'm assuming I'll be replacing the pads soon with some $10 ones I found from another guy at my college. I would suggest, if you like the jacket, to assume you will need to replace the pads yourself. I'm not going to trust my body to be protected at 60mph by these rollerblading pads. Above all, I give the jacket 4/5 for superb shipping time (two days, including a saturday, non-rush shipping), great leather and design, great breathability, and some solvable problems with the pads.

The College Ideal

I got this jacket a while ago, and I love it. I got it a size larger than I needed, just in case, and it fits like a charm. The waist is a bit bit, but the way I ride, its not a problem. The jacket is excellently ventilated, and is very comfortable on the road. I would definitely recommend this jacket to anyone who rides.

I normally wear a Large Shirt so I ordered a Large Jacket. The L fits like an XL or maybe even a XXL. The jacket is very nice for the price, just be careful when ordering. Also if you have a larger belly the jacket will fit you nicely, but if you are slender it will not fit correctly.

I ordered this jacket after looking at all the local bike shops. i was kinda skeptic about the size because i had had some trouble with other jackts. i am 6'4'' 250lb and got the XXL thinking it would be snug but it fits super well. the pads and overall feel of the jacket just need time to settle. its pretty firm right out of the box but in only a few days it flexed to me very well and i could almost forget i was wearing it. very breatheable, looks just as good as the pics(though not green on the inside if you were concerned), seems very good quality. ordered saturday night, it shipped monday and i was surprized to find it on my porch tuesday afternoon. i recomend the jacket especially if you have ahard time finding a bigger size.

I absolutely love this jacket. I was looking for a combination of air-flow and protection, and this jacket delivers. I've ridden with this for about 2 months now and even in the 90s this jacket provides proper airflow to keep me cool and comfortable. I always wear moisture-wicking undershirts, and when combined with this jacket, I am able to get off my bike and head straight into a social situation with a group of friends without dripping sweat. Plus, this thing just looks awesome, I've had many compliments. I'd recommend this jacket to anyone.

I'm 5'10" and slender build and the medium was way too big. The neck to waist and arm length were perfect but the arm width and chest width were too big. If you're super buff or super fat it'll fit you great. I wish it had an adjustable wrist strap to make it tighter or some elastic in the arms to keep the elbow pads from moving. Overall it is a really nice jacket, but not made for the skinny/slender.

Shipping was relatively quick. Also the jacket is kind of stiff and will take some use to break in. Had mesh in all the right places. Only other complaint is that if you have the sleeves zipped to the wrist it creates a hard spot that gets annoying on your hand.

I thought the 14 fairly positive reviews would result in receiving a nice jacket. While the shipping was outstanding, the quality of the jacket was not. The quality was very sub standard,the leather was stiff, the zippers were poor quality, and the fit was like wearing a jacket made of cardboard. Great service from the supplier, but I would not recommend the jacket. Returned it immediately. I guess you get what you pay for.

The jacket is actually really nice. It is by FAR the best vented jacket that I have owned. It can be a little hot when you are stopped at a stop light but once you are moving, it is almost as good as riding in a t-shirt. The construction of the jacket is a little stiff at first but breaks in after a few rides. Overall, it is a really sharp jacket that offers a lot of protection and vents amazing. However, there is one thing to note, this jacket runs HUGE in comparison to other motorcycle jackets. I have always worn a Medium. When I ordered the Medium of this jacket, it fit somewhere between what a L/XL feels like. I contacted the company that sold the jacket and asked if I could simply exchange the jacket for a small. They replied that they didn't have the jacket in a small so I had to pay to ship the jacket back. I reordered it in a small when it became available but save yourself the hassle and order it in a size smaller. I would have given it 5 stars if I didn't have to deal with the company not covering shipping costs for an oversized product.

Overall a good looking, decent quality jacket.
The zippers on the sides sometimes get stuck, but other than that really good.
Get it 1 size smaller than you think.
