I recently bought a pair of Ray Bans from these people. Right out of the box I could tell they were fake. First, too light and flimsy. Many spelling errors on the authenticity card. Some how, fakes are sold through Amazon. I understand it is quite hard to do. However, DO NOT buy from these people!!

After less than a year of light use, discolored rings started to appear on my green polarized lenses. I sent them back to Luxottica and ended up paying for the repairs.

After waiting for about a month, I decided to send them an e-mail asking for the status, it took them 3 days to reply.

Another month goes by and I finally receive my "repaired" sunglasses.(BTW, they do not provide you a tracking number)

2-3 months goes later and BAM THOSE DISCOLORED RINGS APPEAR. I searched around and turns out that other people have had the same issue as I have: [...]

This time they tell me that it is a manufacturer's defect and that they will replace it with no charge...SO WHY DID I EVEN HAVE TO PAY FOR IT THE FIRST TIME?! THEY WERE THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM.

I called them up and the representative (who BTW did not even tell me her name and was very rude) told me that during the first repair the lenses were replace due to scratches! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I SENT THEM A SUMMARY REGARDING THE DISCOLORATION AND ON THEIR SYSTEM THEY PUT SCRATCHES?!

I bought this pair of glasses and I like it, but the only thing I don't like it is there MADE IN CHINA. Instead ITALY so.. I search in the web and call to several stores and they don't know about it. So I just don't know if there are originals or copycat.

Sunglass Express hides specific "terms and conditions" for returns & exchanges (15% restocking fee, inconsistent specifications from what is stated online & delivery invoice, etc.). Product description-sizes, colors, etc. not clear/accurate (must see RayBan official website to decipher). Although I followed all requirements, didn't receive requested response confirming my credit was issued. Will never purchase from Sunglass Express again!

I tried on several pairs of glasses around where I live and realised that some of them had "made in italy", while others had nothing.

I contacted a rep at luxottica group, the owners of ray-ban for clarification. Apparently, these cockpit 3362 glasses are made in china and are supposed to have the "made in china' imprinted on them. Other models are made in italy so you should check out with the rep if need be.

Its amazing that the reputable optical shops at the malls where i live are possibly selling fakes and at a premium too.

Anyway, i wld advise anyone wanting to buy a pair of sunglasses to go try it out at your local optical shops before purchase because what may look nice in a picture may not look good on you for several reasons such as skin colour, nose bridge etc.

These cockpit glasses are great for people with smaller faces whereby a conventional aviator would look weird or obstruct the cheeks.

I work for a dept. store and I order items. Sadly, yes, this model is MADE IN CHINA, we receive them from Rayban. So much money for made in china junk, this model is NOT made in Italy.

I bought this amid the mixed reviews here ranging between these being fake (made in China) and these being real. I received mine yesterday and I can say that 1) these are genuine Ray-Bans and 2) yes, these are made in China. Not all Ray-Bans are made in Italy.

They fit me very well and feel sturdy. Lens quality is good as well - being polarized, they make for good driving glasses. I love them and would definitely purchase again.

This is my second pair of these sunglasses. The first pair I had were polarized and one of the lenses cracked when they fell about 2 feet to a tile floor. I didn't really like the polarized lenses on that first pair so went with non-polarized on this second pair.

These are great sunglasses. Very stylish and they fit well. Would definitely buy these again if anything happens to this second pair but I'm going to try and be more careful with these!
