A terrific tank but to my GREAT disappointment the remote control signal is so weak that you MUST stay within 10 to 12 feet in order for the tank to respond to your input.YOU MUST MOVE ALONG CLOSE TO THE TANK,WALKING WITH IT TO STAY IN CHARGE. No sitting on your duff in a chair and being the MIGHTY TANK COMMANDER you dreamed about becoming. The tank has superb, realistic detail and is fun just to look at. I would recommend this tank but be aware of its shortcomings.

This RC Tank is the best RC Toy I had ever owned. It runs very well on uneven terrain like books, carpet, pencils, crayons and things like that. The Instructional booklet comes in both English and Japanese. From what I read it says not to run it on electrical stuff, water, dusty places, and grass. But , I ran it on grass, water, and sand but it is still in good condition and runs well. Inside the box, you'll get instruction booklets, a box of Accessorys, a box of 6 MM BB Pellets, Safety Plug, 9V Alkaline Battery ( for controller ) and a Rechargeable battery pack for the tank. It does not state how long to charge the Battery, but I charged it for 15 minutes, and the tank ran for about 1 hour and 3 minutes. Overall this tank is the best toy anyone can recieve.

Santa brought this gift for our 9 year old son. He loves this. Reading the directions you really can't use it outside on the grass but cement should be fine. He is having a blast playing with the tank and the BB guns are a huge hit.....however please stress with your child (male adults included) that you could shoot an eye out. He accidentially shot my 6 year old son and it stung his hand. This was the hit of Christmas, even over some Wii games!! Thanks for having the product available.

I was a little disappointed in the tank itself when it came. It is more of a toy than the hobby style tanks you see on YouTube. That said, it is a good value for the money. The little extra details are very fragile, and the remote actually feels cheap and flimsy, but it does everything they said it did. One negative comment, the tank does not execute turns on the fly. You have to stop the forward motion and then turn the tank, then continue forward. One thing I can give high marks to is xheli themselves. Within the first 10 minutes of playing with the tank I had broken one of the rubber tracks. I sent them an email explaining the situation and asking for help. They agreed to send me two brand new sets of tracks. I received them quickly via first class mail. In my opinion this was above and beyond what I expected regarding customer service.
Today a 1/16 scale Tiger I came in the mail. This was more along the lines of what I was thinking of when I purchased the Abrams tank. The vehicle itself is large, detailed and impressive, but the tank is failing to respond to commands from the remote. Once Xheli gets back to me and rectifies the situation, which I'm confident based on past experience should be soon, I'll review the tiger, and compare and contrast with the 1/24 Abrams.

I have had a blast playing with this tank. If you take it easy with it you can take it out side and move thru the grass. I have set up targets and had good luck aiming the cannon and making hits with it. Have also chased some stray cats away from my yard just by driving the tank close to them. I am a animal lover so I was carefull. There is a Possibility I may purchase another one of these tanks and play war games against someone.

This is a great detailed RC Tank. Except for one flaw... It's missing it's seventh rolling wheel! But obviously the company's using the same track system for all thier 1:24th tanks. Examples include the: Leopard, T-90, and M1A2 Abrams. No big deal.
The overall motion and physics are awesome! You can control it in the following ways: Foward, Backward (with a 2x speed boost) left, right, spin, and SUPER SPIN (caution: as the super spin drains battery juice rather quickly!). The tank arrives in a cardboard box wrapped with plastic. After unwrapping the tank it is in it's regular box with great artistic coloring, opening the box reveals the tank, battery, remote control, box of accessories, bag of BB's, target board, and instruction booklets. The remote is programable and has 6 pre-installed demo programs too. The remote allows you to move the turrent, raise it up and down, and the best part... SHOOTING BB'S! But it includes a safety featurefor airsoft. The Tank has a main airsoft control hatch which can turn the airsoft portion off. So it i great for kids! The tank has great detailing and operates BETTER than advertised! It has rubber tracks that grip great and allows it to climb obstacles such as: DVD cases, Books, pencils, cell phones, sticks, etc. Optional Detailing is in the accessory box. Tank manufacturer is Heng Long. A great brand in my opinion. Oh another thing the tank has great range, with the two metal antennas attached to your tank, and the controller antenna extended it can go up to a 15ft radius. PROS VS. CONS Pros: -Great detail -Pistol Remote, easy grip and easy to control -Great Range -Airsoft -Working head/tail lights and a bright red laser for airsoft -Full working tracks and turrent -Camo -Based on a true M1A2 Abrams Chassis, except the track base (not a big deal) -Remote has a program mode, to make your own program -Tracks grip good on rugged terrian -All batteries included (9volt for remote, Rechargable Battery for tank) -Nice manual and included carboard target -Strong tank, can push books around! -Airsoft safety features (airsoft on/off switch on tank, remote has 2 button safety feature for children) CONS- -Remote and tank are plastic but the tank seems durable (I have crashed and flipped it multiple times without breaking a piece) -Super spin wears battery out too fast -Long charge time, sensitive battery (3-4 hours ONLY!! any longer can fry your battery) Overall a great tank, met all expectations for me. Trust me you will not be disapointed!

As far as this toy goes, it does almost everything that it says. As for anything it doesn't mention, it does for a good reason: because it's all pretty bad.
First of all, the worksmanship is very shoddy. It is definitely a cheap Chinese made toy. In fact, if someone was to later tell me it used lead based paint, I wouldn't be at all surprised (as far as this being true, I have no idea and I certainly hope not. Just trying to make a point of its quality). The tank shoots BB pellets and in my tank, someone cut a square hold in the BB feeder. Since the pellets are round, it obviously didn't fit in the square hole. In fact, I can even see the outline of the circle that they were supposed to cut out, but didn't. I worked around it by feeding the pellets through the turrent. These are definitely BB pellets and I wouldn't aim it at anyone. The remote feels equally bad in terms of quality. The plastic they used is cheap and the click the buttons make feels cheap. The manual is riddled with grammatical and spelling errors since it was written in China. It also doesn't tell you how long the battery should be charged, which apparently is very short (15 minutes is MORE than enough). The battery also feels cheaply made and I think I can even see the soldering that was done. In fact, the power adapter seems like something that I made in college (ECE major) by cutting the wire and just attaching a white plastic terminal at the end as a quick workaround for a project. It works, but... In a nutshell, does it work as advertised? Mostly. Will I trust it to keep working? No. I had another Chinese tank that I've had for 15+ years and it worked fine. That build quality is infinitely better than this replacement I thought I was getting. I am not surprised that other people are complaining that theirs were broken upon receiving them.

I really enjoy this little tank - must be a guy thing... If properly taken care of, this toy will offer several years of enjoyment. I must add that some of the pieces of the tank are very small and easy to lose. I had to glue some of the railings on the back of the tank to hold them on. Even so, it's very fun and satisfying to drive this tank around and shoot at targets. I t very fun to play with, just be aware of some small fragility. Enjoy!

I bought this for my son for Xmas. The first one shipped did not fire the BBs. I had to send it back. The 2nd one did not even turn on. My son asked why Santa would send him toys that don't work. Avoid this toy!

Although it's a little early to tell, so far so good as far as holding up is concerned. Only complaint I have is that the Tank I recesived is not like the one pictured in the add. The one shown and that I ordered was s different color. Desert tan. The one I receiced was cammo. I already had a cammo colored one. However, it was not worh the effort to complain.
