If you're wondering why you see some reviews that say this helicopter is quite durable and others saying the opposite; there is a secret. The helicopter absorbs vertical falls (straight up or down) quite well. However, if the blades strike an object 'edge on' or horizontally, the rotor will snap almost instantly. That's why you see either great reviews or really bad reviews. Depending on how the helicopter crashes determines your experience on how durable it is.
As for the handling, once it is properly trimmed out, it is excellent. This is one of the best handling little choppers you will find. A moderately experienced pilot, or one who avoids the edge-on crashes, will find a great deal of enjoyment from this helicopter.
If they had carbon fiber aftermarket blades for it, I would give it a 5 star rating.

Guys and girls, I have read some of the reviews about these three channel helicopters. According to most of your statements here, I can tell that most of you are new to RC Helicopter flying. I have been flying RC Helicopters now for 2 years and still profecting the technique. RC Helicopters are the most hardest RC Vehicles to control first off, because your continuously fighting the air that it generates. A lot that you are complaining about happens with all RC Helicopters in a newbies hands. The object to RC Helicopter flying is to take off with no problems, hoover, directional flying, and land without crashing where you want it to land. The worst spots to fly these helicopters are: small rooms, hallways and outside. Now, I'm not saying that these areas can't been flown by 3 channel heli's, but to a newbie its hard because you don't have the experience in flying in closed areas. My suggestion to you: when you are first learning the helicopter, fly it in a very spacey room that way all that air it generates is not deflected back into the helicopter causing unstable flying conditions. In most cases as yall have mention, multiple crashes. Take the time to get the feel for the helicopter before you go trying to fly like a pro.
1. Try lifting the helicopter to about 5ft and hoover in one spot. You will rotate some but give it some left or right trim. (Practice soft landing)
2. Once you master taking off, try some forward and backwards flight. If it rotates on you, give some right or left trim depending on the rotation. (Example: If the heli is spinning left, give it some right trim to slow rotation until it stop)
3. Now, its time for some directional flying, taking off and getting it to land where you want it.
4. Be prepared to by Heli parts because your going to crash aloy as a beginner. I would suggest that you buy extra parts when you by the heli. The helicopter is easy to work on. The parts that you would normally have to buy are: blades and motors. When I started out, I must have brought like 20 pairs of blades and now I haven't brought blades in 6 months and thats only because I upgraded my heli to a 450. Be patient and learn to fly because if you don't it could get expensive replacing parts.

"Newly designed super strong crashworthy propeller"
As the propeller snapped off less than 5 minutes after its first use, this "crashworthy" claim is apparently way over-rated.
