First of all, its not an ABRAMS, its a japanese T-90. Yes it is increadibly fun, until the "all terrain" it rides over breaks the spokes in the rear axle, which inevitably leads to the tank turning slightly to the left or right, depending on which side has more broken spokes. Then one of the 2 poorly made motors burns out, and the only thing of use becomes the turret.

Bought this for my Grandson' birthday. Wasn't sure if he could use it. Didn't have to worry, he loves it and can use it, just ordered some BB's for it. Great toy. Loves it.

We bought this for our son's 10th birthday. He really enjoys the toy. You did do NEED to keep it on a smooth surface such as a driveway or hardwood floors. Even when on these surfaces if it bumps into the wall or something make sure the tread doesn't get off set. I heard a noise and had him stop it to look at it and saw that the rubber tread was rubbing the side and trying to tear it.

Also, this has good safety features that keep you from accidentally firing and hurting yourself or someone else. Keep in mind that younger and responsible children are who you want to play with this toy (even then we require safety glasses). We have 6 neighbor kids that come over and only one is old enough and responsible enough for her to play with it. Since this is our circumstances he mostly plays with it inside and outside only on the days the other kids are not available.

He seems to enjoying playing with a friend, rather than by himself. Though my son has always been that way about a LOT of things. Also, we did buy two for this reason.

So far we feel it has been worth the money for the enjoyment and quality.

When considering ammo you really don't need much more than comes with the toy, especially if the toy is used mostly inside. The ammo are plastic and easy to find and reuse. If you decide to buy more, you might want to consider the bottle with the spout. This keeps extras from falling all over the place when retrieving the ammo from the bottle.

We gave this toy a four star rating due to it not being durable enough to take it in the grass and the need to pay attention to the tread to make sure it stays where it suppose to.

Overall, we would buy this toy again.
