Perfect Quality Reception! For not having a A/C powered module this is the best antenna there is most definitely. I recommend this buy for many reason but the most important is in my area it outperformed a bunny eared antenna that had an A/C powered amplifier. So less cords is always better.

I purchased this product after deciding to cut my cable TV subscription after getting tired of my cable provider's rate adjustments every six months. My cable bill was $ 120 a month and I was watching way too much TV. Time to simplify life. Broadcast TV will be more than enough for now.

The "RCA ANT1600 Flat Digital Passive Indoor TV Antenna" is perfect for what I need. I live in Philadelphia's Center City so there was no need to get an amplified antenna. I live in an apartment building and there were no reception issues. My HD Sony Bravia's built-in digital tuner was able to pick up 40 channels when I hooked up the RCA ANT1600. Since this antenna is passive, there's no power cord and only one wire to hook-up. Very simple to install - all I did was plug in the antenna's built-in coax cable connector to the TV. The sleek and slim design looks great and blends well on top of the TV cabinet like it is not even there at all.

The two existing reviews for this antenna reflect exactly what I experience using it in two locations. One is in a small town far removed from any local broadcasting, the other is inside the Atlanta city limits.

In Atlanta I receive all of the networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, CW, PBS) plus local channels that aren't on cable ([...] has a complete list of what you can receive over the air). All excellent crisp HD quality. Out in the sticks, like the bad review, rabbit ears work better even though it is supposed to pick up analog signals.
