I have a suspicion there were two different models being reviewed.. This review is for the 'wireless' green led clock. This clock radio doesn't have bluetooth, but the soundflow works really well. It gets nice and loud without sounding crackly. It's a clock radio so don't be expecting bose quality. I assure you the sound is perfectly fine. I haven't used the alarm function so I can't review on that aspect. What I like about this clock radio:

-Digital radio tuning, so no guessing at approximate numbers on a a dial.

-Battery Backup (2 AA batteries)

-It has a dim-able green clock light which is NOT too bright. I got rid of our last two alarm clocks due to them being too bright

-soundflow is awesome. All you do is set your phone on top of the clock & it automatically starts playing whatever you have playing on your phone. I didn't even have to remove my phone case & it still worked flawlessly.

-Usb port on side of clock.

If you're looking for a bluetooth speaker but don't wanna spend a lot just buy this.. We've had ours for almost a year & it's still working fine.

It's a clock - it's a phone stand.... I was looking for a clock that didn't have an annoying buzzer sound, and aside from a CD player, couldn't find a clock that could just accept a media card. Since my phone has a nice alarm, when I saw this it made sense. It's easy to use, holds a phone well, and my phone is now my alarm clock.

It has a hole in the base where a USB cord fits to charge a phone. The USB plugs into the clock which is plugged into the wall.

Sure, I could probably have built a phone stand out of a piece of wood, but I like having a clock when my phone isn't plugged into it.

Only downsides: no battery backup and the blue display can feel really bright at night.

The buttons are all perfectly flush with the top of the unit and it is really hard to find the right button to turn it off in the morning. I'm considering gluing shirt buttons to the snooze and Off buttons so I can figure it out in the morning without wanting to rip this thing out of the wall and throw it across the room. The settings are not too hard to figure out

I bought two of these to go at either side of our bed. It is small and compact, but it doesn't work really well, at least for my Samsung phone. I thought that it was a charger itself, but really it is just the cradle. You have to insert a charging cord of your own and feed it through the bottom of the unit. I cannot plug in my Samsung S4 phone and sit it in the cradle. The tip of the charge cord is too wide and the phone sits in the cradle in an awkward position.

I would not buy these if I could do over.

It's a clock radio, true enough. You can't set the alarm volume though, so prepare to be JOLTED awake. You can charge a USB-plugged device. The Soundflow thing-- I don't know. I wish it was true. It kind of works, but if you have decent speakers on your phone or tablet, I don't get the point of Soundflow. Easy to read numbers in the dark. The ads mention using apps with this. What apps? How? It's a clock radio! Buy it for less than $20 and it's a deal.

1. nice big display -
2. ... BUT missing some plugs for the powercord for EU soclet, and tuner wasn't very flexible .. :-(
could only tune in steps with 0,2 and only uneven .. so could get my favorite local radio station tuned in...
3. .. didn't manage to get the "super" playback system "Soundflow" to work with my Galaxy Note 3.
SO ... in the end - after 2 weeks testing/problem solving - I donated it to re-cyckling...

I bought this for my daughter to use her Ipod touch 5g on since they don't make dockers for the 5g, and the connectors don't work very well for her. It works pretty good, though it can get staticky (sp) at times.

I tried my Ipod touch 4g on it and couldn't get it to work no matter what I tried. The 5g worked good right off though.

Product has a USB port that you can connect items for charging but you cannot "connect" to the clock. The clock does not have a wireless connection (no BlueTooth). The clock will not sync or connect with cables or wirelessly to any network or other devices. The clock has a "resting" pad or spot on the top (see photo) that you can lay your phone on while it's connected to the USB port (you provide the USB cable) when charging. This pad or flat spot has an audio receiver (probably a simple microphone) located at both ends. The microphone/receiver will pick up the sound from your cell phone speaker and channel/route it through the clocks main speaker. If you mess with the sound levels on your phone and the clock, you can increase the total loudness by several levels as well as it gives the overall sound a broader-stereo'ish quality. You turn this feature on by pushing a button called "SoundFlow". Turning on "SoundFlow" basically turns on the microphone on the pad and if your phone speaker is lined up (mess with it) it will send the audio through the clock speaker as mentioned above.
The clock has two alarms. The clock has an FM radio and antenna attached. The clock comes with the AC adapter. The clock does not come with two Double A batteries for when/if it loses power. The clocks buttons are small and the print for describing each buttons function is difficult to read (impossible at night). Buttons do not light up. Button functions are not intuitive ( you have to press one button and cycle through many options, and there are 8 buttons). Considering the "SoundFlow" gadget and USB charging connection and if it lasts more than a couple of years then the purchase will be worth it.
