The RCA DS2232RD DIRECTV Digital Satellite system features an accelerated 32-bit processor. It offers advanced onscreen program guides including SurfGuide, Information Guide, and a full seven-line program guide--functions that allow you to see what's playing on up to seven channels at a time. The RCA DS2232RD also has an interactive channel banner with the Guardian parental lock, AlphaSort, Home Control, an eight-event scheduler, and one-button record functions.

The DS2232RD Digital Satellite system offers RF in/out connectors, one set of audio-video outputs, S-video output, VCR control output, a low-speed data port, a phone jack, and a satellite-in connector. The satellite dish measures a compact 18 inches across and includes dual-output LNB, so you can connect multiple receivers. The system comes with a Master Touch universal infrared remote control, designed to operate most TVs, VCRs, and cable set-top boxes.

There are some terms and conditions with the purchase of this product. There is a limit of one DIRECTV system purchase and installation per customer. Only new residential DIRECTV customers may purchase a system. Buying this item signifies agreement to sign up for one year of DIRECTV programming. receivers must be activated within 45 days by calling (800) DIRECTV [[phone]]. Failure to activate service (or canceling service within one year of subscribing) may result in a $250 charge to the credit card used for the purchase. All returned systems and receivers will be inspected for original parts and access cards. If a receiver is returned without its access card, a $125 restocking fee may be charged to the credit card used for the purchase.

If a clear signal and and quality sound is watch you are looking for, look no more. With access to 100+ PPV movies, Sports packages,etc. All broadcast clearer and sharper than your local cable co can offer without doubling your bill. Purchase a powered rabbit ear or digital antenna to get HDTV or analog local. I have had system for 3 years and have only experienced an outage once (for about 2 minutes). Cable can't compare.

Had my RCA DSS dish for 4 years and service has been great no problems. Looking foward to AOL / Direct TV internet deal

I have one word for you...Sony! RCA receivers are littered with software glitches that cause an infinite number of problems. If you do want to by DirecTV, do NOT even CONSIDER RCA or Hughes. Buy Sony!
