5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT HD DVD RECORDER !, September 4, 2008

This review is from: RCA DVD Recorder with 80GB DVR (Electronics)
This RCA HD DVD RECORDER works great I have had it for 2 years and it has not let me down. I'm only selling it because I already have 2 other recorders and don't use it that often. The only thing about it is that it does not have one touch record. When you hit record, a screen comes up asking you for record length, and whether you are recording to the HD, or straight to DVD. After you tell it what it needs to know, you're off and recording. This can be slightly annoying if you're recording something on an instant. But if you miss the beginning of a show because you were changing the settings, it does have a save buffer that acts as a timeslip. This means when the buffer is on, it will record the part that you missed before you started recording(up to 2 hrs back). If all this sounds slightly complicated it's really not, it's a very easy recorder to use. And the unit that I'm selling has an adjusted HD upgraded to 120 GB instead the regular 80 GB. Any inquiries about the unit I'm selling, please email me.
