We have a tiny TV in the bedroom and we needed a cheap remote. But this was great for the pricec we paid and also it works with TV, VCR, etc. It also is pretty comfortable to use in terms of button sizes. Our TV is pretty old, but we found a code in the handbook for that and from that day on, we dont get up to shut it off, just before we sleep. It's been sheer laziness, aha!

I bought this for my 90 year old mother and she received it quickly. My nephew programmed it to fit her old RCA TV in short order. Given the age of the TV, I was concerned the remote couldn't be programmed to match the set-no problem there. My mother reports it works great. So far, so good.

This is a really good remote for my Panasonic TV and Sony VCR, but it won't work with my GE DVD player. I have a 6-device RCA Universal Remote, and it don't work either.

My TV have 3 modes: radio, video, and TV. I have to use my TV remote to put the TV on video mode to watch DVDs. This remote doesn't have a botton to do that.

I lost the VCR remote and that was the whole reason for buying this one. It does serve that purpose, quite well.

This universal remote control works perfect, the way you input the code for your tv or device is very very simple and that is great.

If you wrongly press another button like VCR you just press TV and it works again, what I mean is that it does not get misconfigured like others universal controls that I have had in the past.

All I needed was a simple remote to work on my TV. It's a old TV and I was worried it wouldn't work. But it's perfect. No issues. Arrived with great timing and a perfect price.

For one-fourth the price of most other replacement remotes, this one works impeccably well, does everything the much larger original did, and exceeds expectations. It is small so doesnt look so bad on the lampstand next to my easy chair. I use it on an older RCA non-HD TV and does everything I need it for.

I ordered this remote because it was "reasonable" and to order the replacement RCA remote for my TV was 3 times ($) the amount. I thought I would take the chance to see if it worked since the price was right. I am not a "tech nerd" and when the remote arrived, I was apprehensive that I would have my TV back up and running...But, to my surprise, it worked easily and with no problems. The only thing that doesn't work the same is the Sleep Timer function. The Sleep Timer Function works, it is just not as "user friendly" as the RCA remote that came with the TV. Would I recommend this product? ABSOLUTELY! Save some money and get this one! I love it!

I bought this remote to work with an older tv that does evrything twice from newer remotes.

This one works great nad seems to have a good range.

Needed a remote for an old Zennith VCR. Was worried that the VCR would be too old to work with a universal remote but was very happy to find that the code supplied with the remote worked great. Super easy to configure. If you just need a 3 setting universal remote, this is a great option. Really like the small design with very simple, easy to use buttons. Totally satisfied.

Got this remote because it was cheap. My in-laws remote for their Dish receiver and Hitachi TV went bad. I was worried that this wouldn't work with the Dish, but the codes for Hitachi TVs didn't work with their TV. The Dish code worked only for power and menu. It couldn't change channels and you can't get the guide. I didn't expect to get the guide(no dedicated guide button), but I wanted to at least change channels. Tried their auto and manual setup for the codes and both didn't work for the TV. I'm still debating whether I should manually enter 200+ codes to see if any one of them would work with the TV or just return it.

The good...

It's small and can control three devices(so long as they work). It's working for other reviewers so just depending on your equipment ymmv. Make sure you can return it, just in case the codes don't work for you.
