Good but not great,

The cd player is inexpensive and it does its job for normal listening. Since it's cheap, there is not any cd skip protection so joggers look elsewhere. Also, the buttons aren't that sensitive so you have to press them firmly. Other than that, you get your money's worth.

thsi cd player is great, except for one little thing. If you hate noisy cd players, then dont get this one. After about a month I got it the buttons started confusing one another(if I hit forward it goes back, etc.). The best thing about it is the headphones it comes with, you would think by the looks of them theyre the typical generic headphones, but they have really really good bass for their size. RCA could have done better, not only with this product but with all of them, all products of theirs I have(tv, stereo, cd player, etc.) arent turning out to be the best, I had to throw away the stereo I got that was an RCA, it just didnt work-I even took it to get checked out and they said just throw it away. alot of other problems are happening with the tv's and stuff also.

OK for the money,

I bought this model because I wanted something that would play CD's and I woundn't get too upset if I dropped it or had it stolen. It doesn't have any of the anti-skip features..if it does they don't work. It tends to skip if you walk around with it or grab it with any pressure on the cover. However, it does just fine in the car or sitting on top of my stair stepper. Just as well as the Sony model I've had for the past 5 years that just quit on me. Hope this helps.
