This is a very awesome cd player, it has almost everything
you need for a perfect cd player. But to me it is perfect,
what can I say the 45 sec. Electronic-Shock Protection is
very good, the 2-stage bass boost is unbelievable and
mindblowing cause it creates a very different perspective
to the sound of music itself. The Volume is awesome.
The top mounted controls are easily accessable and
doesn't stick which makes it very convenient.
What I really like about this cd player is that it has a
readable LCD display filled with all the components
such as a battery life indicator, bass boost stage
indicator, and ESP timer. It is also very slim,
compact, and easy to carry around whether in the car,
running, leisure, or traveling, this cd player plus
the really comfortable Stereo x headphones with
unbelivable sound response combined together will give
you a very powerful, convenient, and dependable cd player
and also a very awesome audio experience. I like the colors
of this cd player. I get compliments for the complection
and design of this cd player. Not only that, but all
the features put together makes me very proud to own
this RCA cd player. It's virtualy skip free and
has an extended battery life, 36 hour playback and
24-Track Memory, Shuffle, Repeat and random play
and an auto shut off and very interesting feature
where you turn off the cd player and when you turn
it on using the saver feature it will play at the
same place it was when you last listened to it, cool.
It is worth the money. If you are looking for a cd
player to buy or looking for the first cd player to
buy, I recommend this one, it won't dissapoint you,
and it will give you great results and it will give
you a great audio experience you will never forget.

This CD player is absolutely amazing. Every aspect is outstanding! I tested the ESPX and nothing made it skip, the headphones are comfortable, good sound, and a good price. The most amazing part was the 2 level bass boost. I'm a fan of bass and with the 2 level bass boost on, it blew me away. Good job RCA!

Never owning a personal cd player before, I didn't what my 1st purchase to be a waste. I knew I needed a player that could handle being tossed in a pocket or knapsack for commuting on the subway. Good sound and CD/R/RW capabilities. I achieved my goals with the RCA RP2420. Its slim enough to fit in my jacket pocket,light weight, and requires a MAJOR bump for it to skip. So if you're looking for a well-made, easy to use, good sounding portable cd player, you can't go wrong with this choice.
