Amazon.com Product Description
Adding a twist to traditional clock radios, the RCA RP3722 doesn't just wake you at the pre-determined hour, but it also changes colors based on your personal taste thanks to its three interchangeable faceplates. If your bedroom is colorful, you can opt for the subdued charcoal color; however, if your room is a bit drab, the blue or green options can liven up the surroundings. The result is a clock radio that looks lively and engaging--quite the opposite of most standard black models.
The RP3722 offers more than just a pretty face, however. Among its alarm functions are dual wake settings, which are ideal for couples that sleep in the same bedroom; independent wake mode indicators for rising to either an alarm or the radio; and RCA's Graduwake ramp-up alarm, which initially plays the radio at a low level but gradually increases in volume. The Graduwake option is a nice way to slowly meet the day, as opposed to the abrupt full-volume assault of many clock radios. Another welcome feature is the adjustable screen dimmer. Users have the choice of setting the 0.8-inch LED display to auto, high, or low modes, depending on how bright is too bright when waking up each morning.
Listeners will also appreciate the 11 station presets, which help you quickly locate your favorite program and the auto channel scan function, which lets you browse through the digital tuner's frequencies. Additional features include a snooze button, nap and sleep timers, and a battery backup function should you temporarily lose power. As with all RCA audio products, the RP3722 also includes a one-year warranty.
