Great performance of Tchaikovsky piano concerto, September 25, 1999

This is a well-played recording of Tchaikovsky's First Piano Concerto. Artur Rubinstein's performance is excellent. And the accompainant of the Boston Symphony Orchestra is done well. However, the same cannot be said for the Schumann Piano Concerto. Rubinstein's playing sounds tired and worn out. If you bought this CD for the Tchaikovsky concerto, then you did very well.
