I bought this phone about 3 years ago from a major retail store. The phone had always worked great. Last fall one of our kids left one of the receiver outside, over night durning a heavy rain storm. The handset was never the same. Since we loved this unit so much we decided to get the very same exact item.
If there was a down side it would be that I could not find a single handset to buy and had to purchase the whole bundle. Still a very good product !! Excelent for screen those tele-marketing calls.

I was very pleased with this product! Received product as described by company. Product works great!!

I bought this phone last March 2010. After one month, read manual, usage, "stress test" i can see the following issues :
+ If you pick a call, then switch to speaker and then press speaker again the communication ends (I wanted to use regular mic instead of speaker and not hang communication).
+ Plastic of handset is low quality. GE used to use better plastic for their handsets.
+ Handset keyboard has no light (I knew this in advance).
+ Using the regular mic is not strong enough.
+ Handset affected my wireless connection, still i was able to change standard channel in wifi router.
+ Telephone has no wake-up alarm (I knew this in advance).
+ VIP tones are useless (all tones are similar, and you can only store 10 mems).
+ Amber backlight is not so nice as yellow/green backlight as GE use to deliver.

I do not recommend this phone for personal use, still I think GE rocks and can make it much much better.
I live in Spain and since I like GE, this phone was sent by mail from US.

This phone is very good, has very good range, good sound, and the answering machine is excellent.

this phone is the worst i ve bought until now, cause it is full of problem to use, when i was at my bedroom the signal was gone and i always must to be near of base...
