It's not a comic book as suggested...and true to the author's TedTalk...he is inspired to take risks. Re:Invent is a nice presentation of the ways he and his colleagues have done just that...Re:Invent their creative lives as careers with meaning.

Of all the books stacked around my coffee table, this one gets the most mileage. There are so many unique and beautiful pieces, and that's all before the inspiring story kicks in. 10/10 would buy.

This book is an inspiration. A true labour of love that needs to be acquired and shared with others. I had the pleasure of working with Francis and his art is inspiring. Derick Tsai took this to another level by spearheading the charge to create a collaboration with amazing artists. The product is book that is one of a kind. A must have.

Awesome book that is beautifully designed. I was touched to see how Francis Tsai's condition inspired his friends and fellow artists in this collection of passion projects. A must see book that will hopefully push the reader to pursue their own dreams.

If you look closely at the cover art you will see a heart, an eye, a lightning bolt and an iron fist. The author describes the concept of the brand in the following way: heart=the love to nurture and grow creations, eye=the vision to see what's not there, the lighting bolt=the spark of imagination from the heavens and an iron fist=the will to finish what we start. I cannot not think of a better way to describe this amazing book! It showcases several forms of art work ranging from illustration to photography all of which translate into the artists love of art, vision and inspiration. The Francis Tsai section of the book is particularly inspiring.
A great addition to every coffee table!

I was lucky enough to get in on the kickstarter for this book and I must say that I have not been disappointed. Though the story which prompted the genesis of the book is a heart breaking one, its purpose is to inspire others by showcasing some really wonderful work by the magnus rex studio. I like how it has a little bit of everything: concept art, design, photography, and illustration; all quality work.

I don't think this book would have been produced if it wasn't for the crowd sourcing that kickstarter provides. I must say this type of book is exactly what makes kickstarter so great. Otherwise this book wouldn't be in my hot little hands right now.

The book promises that this volume will not be the last. I'm already looking forward to their next book.

The text is well written. The ideas of the group are clear and easy to understand. The art is aesthetically pleasing. I think what makes this book unique is that it inspires you to make personal art and share it with others. It's the only way to get to know yourself and develop character. I see many artists who get stuck in day jobs and can not produce anything beyond that for themselves and it is bothersome. The last message in the book is a strong one in that there are no excuses for not creating personal art. It's the only way to grow and to truly live. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for inspirational content.
