About Reactor

Founded in 2003 by watch industry veteran Jimmy Olmes, Reactor set out on a mission to create the most durable watches ever conceived, while creating a style uniquely different from the norm. Tested from the depths of the ocean to the deserts of the Middle East, Reactor Watches have been proven to soak up abuse like no other watch made, and judging by the comments from our customers (most of whom have more than one of our watches), no other timepiece gets more noticed on your wrist. Because we know no brand can flourish in today’s marketplace without the loyalty of its customers, our watches are backed by the industry’s best warranty and only 48-hour turnaround service guarantee. In short, our goal is to make all our customers “raving fans.”

Reactor Watch Diagram

The Reactor DNA

Every Reactor Watch shares a group of features we call the Reactor DNA. These features were created specifically to eliminate every weak point in typical watch construction. Combined, they make Reactor the best built performance sport watch …period.

  1. All cases are forged from solid 316L marine-grade stainless steel or titanium.

  2. Every band is attached to the case with solid threaded screwbars, offering at least 5X greater strength than typical springbars, and creating a “free-floating lug” for a superior fit, even on smaller wrists.

  3. Every Reactor is fitted with our exclusive screw-down crown system, the only screw crown to maintain 100M water resistance when unscrewed.

  4. All casebacks are solid forged from the same material as the case.

  5. Every Reactor features industry-leading brightness with our exclusive multi-layer application of Swiss Superluminova.

True watch lovers need to take a close look at this brand! I don't think there is a more rugged watch out there for the price. The guy who started the company is a former professional surfer and his watches are built to withstand the extraordinary demands of this sport.

I purchased this watch as a gift to myself last Christmas to replace a 20 year-old Seiko whose stem could no longer withstand the constant time changes associated with business travel. It arrive prior to the estimated delivery date and was expertly packaged and encased in a very distinctive presentation "box".

This is my everyday watch and I'm known to be rather rough on my watches. To date, there are only a few minor scratches on the bracelet to report. Perhaps more importantly, I continue to get a kick out of it every time I check the time. It is a large, very heavy watch, yet comfortable. The icing on the cake - you don't see these watches on every other wrist. In short, I love this watch!

I haven't worn a watch for two decades. I love precision tools and found that any watch I bought or tried on in my budget range was inferior to my expectations. The stem pulled completely off the watch after 18 months. The winding cap broke from the stem. Watch is junk.

I purchased my first Reactor watch about three years ago, and being a watch fanatic I soon found myself comparing all other watches to my Reactor and discovered that none could compare with the quality at anywhere near the price. I now own over a dozen Reactor watches[I told you I was a fanatic] and their customer service is fantastic any sort of problem and they take care of it I have spoken to Michael Olmes, the owners son many times and he has always helped with any problems I have had. What more can I say great product, great service, great prices! Rick Stack

I had some initial problems but the REACTOR folks stepped up in a big way and made them right. Then they followed up to make sure all is well.

This company gets it and does things the right way. Love the watch and have a new respect for the people working at REACTOR.

Came packaged in a metal "nuclear reactor" case. The watch is beautiful, substantial, and heavy. However, when worn, it doesn't feel uncomfortable on the wrist. The copper gradient dial is great, and with the black background, this watch will match with your wardrobe. The band and case have brushed, and polished accents and it looks fantastic. I guess you could say I am incredibly happy with this watch. The best part about purchasing this is not everyone has one of these beauties. It is unique looking, and guaranteed to get looks and compliments. The movement is a quality Japanese movement seen in a few other brands watches and it it extremely accurate and from I heard from Reactor, is very durable, and shock resistant. The lume on this watch is great. Just an hour or so exposure to some good strong light, and the markers, and numbers glow bright for hours. A huge deciding factor for anyone buying a Reactor should be the warranty and incredible customer service. These guys will bend over backwards to make you happy. Repairs are done within 24-48 hours, and they pay return shipping. Unheard of nowadays. Every other sports watch brand should take a good, hard, look at this fairly new company. This is my first Reactor watch, and I know it wont be my last. Better than expected!!

Excellent styling. Built like a tank. extra thick mineral crystal. Solid SST hand polished links, as
well as the case. Entirely mfg out of 316 SST (excellent strengh and corrosion resistance). Fit great
out of the box, unlike most bracelet watches, which are sized for a gorilla. The chronograph can be
set to zero incrementally a few seconds past zero (12 o'clock) to compensate for human reaction time.
Allen screws attach the band to the case, eliminating any chance of separation.
This is truly a beautiful watch. Pictures don't do it justice. Despite its size, it doesn't look or
feel large, and is very comfortable, though a bit heavy.
