I have heard John Maxwell speak and find him and his ideas inspirational. I wanted to hear him speak again and so bought the audio CDs. Unfortunately, this series is read by a professional narrator who sounds right off a television advertisement. Perfectly modulated speech is as UNREAL as it gets. Although I'm listening to John Maxwell's ideas, I'm completely turned off by the narrator.

I'll be much more careful next time I purchase one of his products. I paid for an audio CD to hear John Maxwell, not a delegated professional speaker. Reading it myself would have been less irritating and less costly. Mr. Maxwell, have you gotten too busy?

After reading the 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership (loved it) and listening to the audiobook of the 360 Degree Leader (a little bit disappointing), I was eager to see what this collection of short Maxwell books had to offer. It is outstanding. Each mini-book is a standalone volume, but together they make a great complement to the 21 Irrefutable Laws. The book is a quick read even if you read it cover-to-cover, and it's especially well-suited for airplane trips or short blocks of time if you want to reach each mini-book by itself.

Maxwell is good at combining practical advice with theory, and making his material useful for his core constituency of clergy and religious leaders while keeping it relevant to secular leaders (and wanna-be leaders).

Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys Maxwell's work, or for anyone who is simply looking to improve his/her leadership skills.

This series books on CDs is good to listen to. Good information to hear with new ideas and reminders for leaders on building or even rebuilding teams.

Got the CDs. Listened to them and was pleased. Loaned them to a friend, and she loved them, too. Easy to listen to and understand.
