What a great concept! The artist goes out and immerses herself in everyday life in D.C. Through her very talented and trained eye, she sketches what she sees, and brings it to the reader full of vibrant color and beauty. I was so taken by the drawings and ideas that I contacted the artist and purchased two prints! Her commentary is quirky and insightful and I would have liked to seen a lot more of it. The book states that another book is planned, this time in Philadelphia (my hometown). I look forward to it and hope to hear more of what she has to say. This book is well-worth your money, enjoy it!
