Review

"You don't often come across such a wonderful novel, it has everything that is great in a book (humour, love, strong friendship and a bit of suspense) and left you with a smile. I devoured EVERYWORD on EVERY PAGE." ~ Amazon reviewer

"This book is absolutely amazing! What I love most about it, aside from Elle's never ending wit, is that the plot goes so much deeper than the steamy romance (and boy, is it steamy)..." ~ Amazon reviewer

Oh my, new book boyfriend! I love Rebel and his brothers! Stayed up way too late to make sure Teagan and Rebel got their HEA. And, even better, NO cliffhanger!

Love Teagan's spunk and diarrhea of the mouth. Seriously laughed out more than once at her motor mouth. Rebel may be the strong and silent type, but wow...

Teagan's language is pretty bad, so if you are offended by the F-bomb (which doesn't bother me), this may not be the book for you. But if you are looking for a sweet and sexy romance, check out this book.

My girl crush for Elle Casey just got even bigger after reading this book. With every book of hers I read I get all the feels. I always laugh, out loud too#!
So here we meet Teagan, who is a spoiled rich girl with daddy issues. Until one day she receives. Phone call that informs us that her father has died and she is left with a trust fund she cannot touch until she is 30. So what is a gal to do?! No work experience. No money. No place to live. She ends up job hunting on the shady side of town and gets a job working for Rebel wheels. Where she meets Mick, Rebel, and Colin. Just when you think you have a grasp on where the story is heading there is a twist that you don't see.
I am normally good at book predicting. This one still pulled. Few unexpecteds on me.
Rebel, yes that's his name, is totally hot. Full on primitive male. You never hear his story though but there are two more books after this one so it's welcomed at this point. He is still a mystery through the entire book. Only a few things are certain. He loves his job, his brothers, and he is falling for Tea.
Some people will probably complain that this story doesn't go into much detail and things progress quickly. Try to remember that there are two more parts. If it developed all at once and she told you everything to soon then what would the point be later? Also, even though it's part of a trilogy you aren't left with some major cliffhanger (Callie and Kayden I'm talking to you) To me, Elle Casey pulled off another brilliant book. When it comes to her books now I don't even read the description. I just buy them because I know I won't be disappointed.
Take a leap. You won't regret it.

Not bad. I liked the overall story. Teagan inner monologue and banter with Quin are snort out loud funny. But what I felt lacking from the story was any kind of connection with Rebel. Normally I favor the alpha hero - but this wasn't didn't do it for me. And I think he's strong, silent persona was just a wee bit TOO silent. With no male POV, I didn't get any insight into what he was thinking. And the guy didn't say much. Added to that, there seemed to be a lot lacking in the back stories of Rebel and his two brothers. You've got one brother fresh out of prison - but then he acts sweet as pie with Teagan. It was just very contradictory.

Thank you for no cliff hangers - but the ending still left me wanting. For what, I'm not sure. Maybe a more passionate conclusion.

Was it worth the purchase? Yes.
Would I recommend it to a friend? Probably not.

I wanted to like this book and some parts I did. However it was a pretty juvenile and immature read. It also lacked a decent ending. I'm not a fan of insta-love and I never really felt a connection to the characters or plot. I definitely will not be continuing this "series".

This book was awesome! There were parts of it where I was laughing so much that I woke up my husband. I couldn't put my kindle down because this book was just so entertaining that I was reading it in bed with the lights off in the middle of the night. So when I woke up the hubby with my sudden bursts of laughter, he was really not pleased. I can not wait for the next book in the Rebel Series to be released. Have read a few books by Elle Casey and this one is by far my absolute favorite. Kuddos Elle!!

I had high hopes for this book! The main character Teagan and her friend have the most ridiculous banter throughout the book. The book could have been so much more if it wasn't completely dumbed down by their shallow and unbelievably immature ,high school dialogue.

WOW! Elle Casey NEVER disappoints!!!! Always my favorite author and can't wait for the next book. Rebel is a can't put it down type of book and I can't wait for the next one. Laughter? OH YES! The humor had me laughing out loud and people around looking at me like I was loosing it. Mystery? YUP! What was Teagan's father up to? Only time will tell... Romance? HOT HOT HOT Romance! Rebel is one HOT guy! The reference of "silent but deadly" describes him well! Lets not forget Quin her best friend and side kick... She will have you in stitches! What more can you ask for in a book.. Not a darn thing! This one covers it all!

When I first started reading Rebel, I laughed out loud. Because the situations Teagan found herself in were humorous. Which led me to believe this was going to be a great book. Teagan is used to having money, but when her father suddenly dies, she loses her money train and has to actually take care of herself. (gasp!) This annoyed me a little because she couldn't care less that her dad died, just that she lost his money and it's made her life harder. She goes around looking for jobs, finally finding one at a mechanic's shop where she meets Rebel. I really did not see a connection between Rebel and Teagan. Rebel hardly ever talked and it took 3/4 of the book before anything happened between the two of them, and when it does, Rebel leaves Teagan naked because he all of a sudden can't go through with sleeping with her. I'm not even sure if it was ever explained why he even did that. If it was, it wasn't clear enough for my brain to be like, "Oh okay, I get it now." When they do finally sleep together, it's when Teagan's been drinking all night, though supposedly she sobers up right away. Realistic? No. From that point on they're a couple, which is just the last half of the book. I don't know. I just didn't feel any excitement about the two of them being together. Teagan is also very insecure and constantly compares herself to a woman she's seen Rebel around, which grew annoying. That humor I originally loved, turned out to be overwhelming and overdone. There's a thin line between being funny and being immature. Teagan and her best friend's reactions to things made me think of two immature girls who squeal and are overly loud to get attention. You know those type of girls. *rolls eyes* The first half of the book was really good, the other half...eh.
