Not a "book," if that was what you're looking for,

I just received this and I think something should be made more clear for anyone else wanting to buy it. This is not a single book collecting the reprint comics published in the early 90s, as described here. What you get when you order this is a pack of 5 actual comic books from the early 90s. In other words this isn't a paperback "archive" book printed on nice paper that will last--it's 5 comics printed on the crappy kind of paper they used to use in the late 80s-early 90s. The comics are in perfect shape, however, except for unavoidable paper yellowing. On the other hand, if you were looking for the actual comics, this isn't such a bad deal.
BUT this is not made clear in the description, which definitely makes it sound like you're getting a "book" and not a pack of comics. I returned my order. Hopefully Recollections will be able to publish bound versions on good paper sometime soon. |
