Before I bought these balls my group and I played with a variety of foosball balls. We tried everything from light weight white balls, heavy brown balls to arcade soccer ball shaped balls. These balls proved to have the best control, roll most true and be the most silent balls we could find.
I highly recommend these. :)

I ordered these foosballs a couple weeks ago and was excited to see the difference between these and plastic balls that came with my foosball table. After reading a few of the previous reviews, I also questioned whether these were the quality Tornado foosballs they're advertised to be. So, decided to order another one advertised as a "Genuine Tornado Textured Foosball" from a different website--Foosballstore dot com--to see if I could find any differences. I found that these "Tornado" foosballs do have better control than the slick plastic ones I own, but the other foosball I ordered seems to have noticeably better control. These balls also have a slight orange tint to them and their texture is wearing down rather quickly where the one from the other site is light pink and is maintaining its texture and color through about the same amount of play. Though it seems to me that these balls aren't the real deal when compared to the other one I ordered, I can't be sure because both orders came in ziplock bags. Still, I have a strong suspicion that these foosballs are falsely advertised.

I bought this item as a gift and, unfortunately, the foosballs came in a cheap clear pastic ziplock bag and not the original packaging as shown in the picture. I will be contacting Amazon and the seller to discuss further. If you're buying this as a gift, expect to find something a bit fancier than a ziplock bag to put these in. Looks like I picked them up off the street. For the money, I was expecting what was shown in the picture. If they had shown what I actually received as the Amazon product picture I would not have purchased these and instead gone to ebay or some other site. I expected more quality from an Amazon seller. I only hope my gift recipient sees the quality in the product despite the crummy packaging.

Warning: Balls do not come in the Tornado packaging pictured. I probably missed some super fine print somewhere, but it is very deceiving. I payed more for these because of the packaging showing authenticity. However, when they arrived they are packed in a small Ziploc style bag. Balls seem to be decent but not what was advertised.

Like another reviewer mentioned, the foosballs do not come in the "official" Tornado packaging as the image would lead you to believe. I was disappointed by this as I cannot confirm they are official Tornado balls. I bought them here because I did want to receive the official Tornado balls.

With that said, they do work great. They are roughed up enough that allows for very good control on a Tornado foosball table. I was unable to tell the difference between these and the balls used on tables in bars, etc.

I am only using these balls now. However they are just slightly softer then I like.

Waaaay too heavy for renee pierre foos balls. If you want a hard german ball, get these, ut they are nothing like the original renee pierre foosballs.
