I purchased two of these Reizen big button phones from MaxiAids. The transaction with MaxiAids was smooth, including the eventual return of _both_ phones when they stopped working. That's right, both phones failed within one week of each other. The speakerphone button would stay on, taking up the phone line. The only way to free the line was to unplug the phone. MaxiAids gave me a return authorization over the phone and quickly credited back my credit card when they received the return. Of course, I was still out the cost of shipping in both directions.

I recommend against buying this phone; it could actually be hazard if a sight impaired person is unable to unplug it when it fails and/or doesn't have a backup phone. Amazon reviews require you to give at least one star rating, otherwise I would have given zero.

This phone has been a God sent! We bought this for my Mom. She is almost blind and when she would call her friends she was dialing the wrong numbers because she could not see the numbers on her cordless phone. So we began searching for a phone with big numbers. Since we got the REIZEN Big Speaker phone she has been able to call her friend and not dial the wrong phone number. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because it isn't cordless other then that is has really helped Mom to be able to see and call her friends.

This phone is for my Dad. He's 95 years old and is pretty healthy but he has macular degeneration. He couldn't see the buttons on his phone. This phone has nice big buttons. But what he likes best are the buttons at the top so he has to only push one button to reach my sister and I.

I had a phone with bug buttons- offed by lightning. I tried 2 standard phones and did not like the small buttons.
Then I found the BIG BUTTON phone on a site for elderly folks. Hurray, I got back what I lost by a lightenig strike.
