5.0 out of 5 stars Satellite receiver
This receiver lets you see different channels in two separate TVs and does'nt cost
more with the provider (in this case DishNetwork)($5.00 if you ar'nt connected to
the phone) the second TV can be in a separate room and you control the receiver from
there without interfering with the other TV program

3.0 out of 5 stars Good, But Some Issues
We've been using the 322 for about 3 years and generally speaking it has served well. It's located downstairs and controls TVs in the livingroom and in our upstairs bedroom. The signal between the receiver and the upstairs radio remote is good. Dish replaced the radio remote when it failed after about 1.5 years for free. The remotes are nicely laid out. The receiver...

3.0 out of 5 stars Good, But Some Issues, August 13, 2009
This review is from: REMANUFACTURED DISH NETWORK RECEIVER 322 (Electronics)
We've been using the 322 for about 3 years and generally speaking it has served well. It's located downstairs and controls TVs in the livingroom and in our upstairs bedroom. The signal between the receiver and the upstairs radio remote is good. Dish replaced the radio remote when it failed after about 1.5 years for free. The remotes are nicely laid out. The receiver hiccups from time to time, and that's about as specific as I can be. This is fairly high tech stuff and sometimes it seems to get a little confused. Unplugging for a few minutes usually cures this.

When electrical power returns after an outage, or if the unit has been unplugged (see above), the receiver needs to reacquire satellite signals. It can take up to 10 minutes. This receiver is definitely not "green." It draws about 30 watts even when it's "off." Unplugging it when not in use invokes the reacquisition process when plugged in again. I don't like to leave everything plugged in all the time, especially since electrical storms can cause problems where I live. We switched to Dish in the first place because a storm knocked out our DirecTv dish---and they wanted hundreds just to come out and look at it. I tend to unplug things a lot now, so watching the Dish 322 reacquire the sat signals is one of life's little annoyances. If someone can offer me an Energy Star receiver I'll likely take them up on it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Requires second cable from dish, March 3, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

Works as advertise. However, with the standard DishPRO dish, a second cable must be run from the dish to this box (and then a cable to the second TV). The picture on the second TV is not the greatest. I may be able to clean up the cabling after the snow melts and improve the picture.

3.0 out of 5 stars Sat. Receiver, February 7, 2010

The receiver was what I wanted...one that would control 2 TVs. The problem was the software in the receiver would not upgrade. I had to call Dish and have them send a replacement.
