Pace yourself,

The first seven chapters of this book move slowly, carefully setting up characters and place in a pace not unlike the rhythm of Repairman Jones's daily life. And then things take off. Have all your creature comforts at hand once Jones's summer of love begins because you simply won't be able to put the book down. And, once you have gotten to the end, you'll be clammering for the sequel.
This book is fun and it's funny. The declarative sentence style makes the act of reading easy, but not the answers to the questions it raises about love, honor, and power in all sorts of relationships. Have this on hand for your next rainy day! |
