I saw Kat Kerr speak a while back. My sister took me and after hearing her I said "well, she's either a loon, a con-job or schizophrenic." Then I said "I believe she's sincere, so that eliminates the con-job. She lives up in Jax and I understand she lives modestly, so she's not in it for the money." I could of course be wrong there as well, but she didn't strike me as money involved.
With my background in psychopathology (I was a counseling psychologist for several years at a state hospital in the late '70s) I know a schizophrenic when I see one. She showed no side effects of major tranquilizers, and she had none of the delusional content of the well-functioning paranoid schizophrenic. Though what she told was certainly "fantastic" it was not muddled with the delusions of the paranoid or hallucinations common to other psychoses.
Since I've studied the Bible for 30 years and taught it for 15, I knew her scripture support was right on the money. I've also listened to her CDs and continue to find no problem with her application of scripture in a doctrinally sound way. She did make a comment about demonic beings on earth for millions of years, so she may be an old-earth Christian, which is okay (I've been torn on that issue for decades, but lean toward young earth by "faith" but I'm not dogmatic about it). She also said she didn't understand the significance of the seraphim with heads like a lion, an ox, a man & an eagle. But that's simply not digging deep into the theology books, where the 4 Gospels (plus Isaiah's which is inclusive of all 4) are representing different facets of Christ's incarnation: the Lion of Judah in Matthew, the suffering Servant (Ox) in Mark, the Son of Man in Luke, and the Son of God (Eagle) in John.
So Kat's not an in-depth Bible scholar. She never said she was, but she knows the word.
She also said something in her meeting I found interesting. She said that she could speak for hours without stopping about the supernatural events she has experienced. And that I think is the bottom line.
I've recently been studying the very sound medically oriented books on Near-Death experiences. While the hard-line atheist crowd continues to dismiss NDEs as something material, they have no evidence. Instead skeptical atheists make ad hominem attacks on the empirical hard science demonstrating their reality. That empirical evidence in books like "Consciousness Beyond Life" demonstrate NDEs to be empirically real on numerous fronts. Virtually all researchers in the field agree.
I know a man who recently had a near-death experience after a massive heart attack. He's changed so much since his "very deep" NDE. His formerly serious & quiet demeanor has changed to a happy, outgoing personality. He knows he visited heaven in his NDE, and did and saw amazing things. Before his unexpected heart attack at an otherwise healthy 60 years old, he was afraid of death. Not now. He "knows" heaven is real. He has no doubts at all. And he is not shy about talking about it. When he does he reminds me a bit of Kat. A little "loony." But it is simply because he has been to heaven and such an experience "changes things." My buddy is otherwise a solid citizen who runs his successful company.
So I vote for "loon" regarding the reality of Kat's experiences. I believe she's telling the truth. She has many corroborating facts that she explains in her lecture and some on her CDs. I haven't checked evidences and don't know how to do so, but they surely can be checked. If she were lying I would think some of the people involved in her "heavenly revelations" would come forward and call them a hoax. But maybe not. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt.
And she's not really a "loon" as a person. Just that child-like playfulness we find so appealing in kids and some many of us criticize in adults. But Kat's right. We're made to be full of love and joy. I see those "fruits of the Spirit" in Kat as well.
So I recommend you read her book, go to her web site and get a CD or two, and decide for yourself. I think you'll enjoy the trip to heaven she will take you on. And if she's a fraud, I suspect she'll be exposed eventually.
But frankly, I don't think she is. If I'm wrong I'll admit it, and be disappointed. But I hope her descriptions of heaven are accurate. I know they're just scratching the surface, but it's a fun and fascinating preview.

This sharing by Kat Kerr is affirmed by another compliation of 'reports' done by Roberts Liardon in a book called "We Saw Heaven", recently reviewed on "The Sid Roth Show". The magnificeent thing about this writing is that it ilustrates clearly that the Triune God can do whatever He wants whenever He chooses. Those who would scoff must read chapter 9 before making judgments! The substantiated facts serve to build upon one's Faith in God the Father,Jesus the Christ and the workings of Holy Spirit. Faith ONLY grows by stepping out in Faith, just as Love only grows by exercising it outside one's self and Trust only grows by walking in Trust....be that in a spiritual sense or in a world's way of one's fleshly desires. If you are wanting to grow into a more intimate relationship with God and Jesus Christ, this book will DEFINITELY help.

This is an amazing book and will comfort soooo many that have lost loved ones...even babies and will actually help you look forward to being in heaven...takes the fear away from dying when you know what awesome things are in store for us!
