but I love the Revlon photoready line. I've read negative reviews of it all over amazon, but I love the stuff. I've tried the liquid foundation, the liquid to powder compact, and the mousse. I like all of them, but the mousse is my favorite. It's actually the lightest makeup I've ever worn, but you have to be careful not to use too much. If you just press on the button all willy-nilly-like then you will get way more mousse than you will need for one application. The trick is to barely depress the button, and you will get a paltry amount that you think will not be enough to cover, but you may very well be surprised. I have found that a very little of this stuff goes a very long way. Start out with an amount you think must be way too small to cover your giant face and then if you need more, you can add more. I think the coverage is fantastic but looks very natural, and it does reflect light so you look fabulous in pictures. I am very pale but I have come to terms with my paleness, even embracing it to the best of my abilities. I buy the fairest of them all when it comes to foundation and just deal with my paleness. That this foundation reflects light will make you look very fair in photos, but it will also make your skin look flawless... which is good because mine is far from it. I suffered from acne as a teenager and young adult and now as a 32 year old I still have scars to remember it by, not to mention the occasional flare up. With this stuff I have not even needed to use coverup on many days, which for me is a major victory (Major Victory, *salute*). So perhaps I am crazy, but I hope there are a lot of other crazies like me because I want this mousse to be on the market for a very long time.

So first off - I am a BIG fan of the Revlon Colorstay liquid Foundations. I bought this to try and...ugh. It starts out like a mouse. You kind of have to work it into your skin. It had a very long dry time. It stays wet FOREVER! Both of those are things I could have gotten around if there weren't two more major drawbacks. 1) It sinks into pores. I have great, almost poreless skin. It crept into every pore, every wrinkle and crinkle I never knew I had. While at the same time - leaving the rest of my skin without coverage. It literally just migrates to pores. Terrible. Then 2) it burns. At first I thought I was having a reaction to something else, but nope - it made my face burn and eventually peel. I've never had a problem wearing foundations before, high or low end. Buy this at your own risk. This product is TERRIBLE.

I bought this because I wanted to try something new and I love the Photoready blush kit.

I thought I'd love this product too but I'm not very thrilled. It comes out very quickly so I've ended up wasting a lot of it the couple times I used it. It's too liquidy for me. It doesn't apply or blend well. I also don't like the way it clumps on my forehead, despite the fact that I used foundation primer.

I'm not going to buy this again. :/

I have tried every drugstore and many department store brands of makeup. I finally found THIS! This makeup covers well and you can't see a makeup line on me! ME, who is cracker white! (I of course use the color Vanilla.). I understand the "drying time" issue, but I apply cream to my face first, then immediately put on the mousse. I do something else for 2 min while it dries, then apply their translucent powder. The coverage is great and very natural looking. I get compliments all the time, and I didn't used to. It does NOT make me break out, and so many other foundations have. I also used to have a problem with adult acne, so I know breakouts. I am afraid of it being discontinued, so I bought 8 today, just in case!

I have used a lot of different foundations and I currently use Revlon colorstay, but this Photoready airbrush mousse was terrible for my skin. Now I have NEVER had any makeup brand male my face break out, and my face has never really had any acne problems at any time in my life. I put this makeup on for the second time and my face was covered in tiny clear bumps for the next week. You could only see it up close, but my skin felt disgusting. I will not be using this product again. My face is always smooth and once every few months I may get a pimple or two usually in the same areas.

I tend to use drugstore foundations over high-end and have never had an issue...until now. I typically love Revlon products and will definitely keep using them in general, however this foundation was a waste of money. As others note, you can't really control how much product is being dispensed which leads to a lot of waste and mess. But my biggest issue with it is that it takes forever to work into my skin so that it's not visibly clumpy or cakey. I've never encountered that with another foundation. I literally cannot figure out the best way to apply this...have tried my fingertips, beauty sponge, foundation brush. I'm still hoping to figure out a way so I don't have to toss a bottle I've used a handful of times, ugh. I wish I would have read reviews of this BEFORE purchasing. Direct your $$ elsewhere!

I purchased this stuff initially at a drug store after seeing it, checking makeupalley reviews and reading that for one person, this is the only makeup that doesn't break them out... so I tried it. I have wasted so much money in my lifetime on makeup - and ALL of them irritate my face and break me out. A recent trip to Sephora and trying out their expensive "sensitive" suggestions has left my face a nightmare. I don't know all of what irritates my skin to this degree or why only this makeup doesn't do it, but if anyone else is in the same boat, may want to check it out.

Having used lots of makeups, this isn't the best coverage, by far. It is very light and does tend to slide around and come off in spots later in the day. It's pretty hard to build it up, but I've managed to cover bad spots OK with it by doing so. I'd probably liken it to tinted moisturizer in its coverage level.

If every other makeup I've ever tried didn't break me out, I wouldn't touch this one. So - for the non-super-sensitive people, I wouldn't recommend this stuff as there are far better functioning out there, but for those hypersensitive to most makeups, give it a try & you might just clear your face up (and then not need any makeup...)!

There are so many things wrong with this makeup! I have worn Revlon colorstay for years. For some reason I decided to give this a try. First you can't control how much makeup comes out- I get way too much each time. It comes out like a foam but then flattens into bubbles and liquidy make up. It is so oily I can't believe it's oil free. I can feel my pores clogging! I even applied oil absorbing powder and within an hour my face was so shiny it was gross! It also rubs off so easy- my glasses cause it to cake up wherever they rest, if something touches my face it comes off or smudges, yet when I try to wash it off it won't come off my face! Revlon needs to retire this ASAP. I am sorry I wasted the money!

I have been using this product for months, and only ordered off of Amazon recently because I couldn't find it at the local drug store. I absolutely LOVE this foundation! I was truly surprised to see all of these negative reviews, because I have never had any problems. It matches my skin tone perfectly, it's easy to apply, and it lasts all day.

Wow. Where to start? I've used both high end (Chanel) to low end (Maybelline) foundations before. I was excited to try this. Coming out of the can it looks like mousse you would eat. Interesting enough. I applied it to my face. Super sticky tacky feeling stuff one on. I was definitely not fond of the feel of it. I've seen it described as light on a review elsewhere. I felt like I was wearing a mask. I've worn heavy foundation before for stage makeup - this was heavier. After about 3 minutes I started to feel a burning sensation. Oh boy. Not good. I waited a few more minutes and it was intensifying. I quickly hopped in the shower and washed it off with makeup remover. Twice.
For the next 4 hours my face continued with the burning sensation. That has NEVER happened to me with any makeup product I've tried before from low or high end brands. I was thrilled that the sensation was gone by morning, but I would never ever put this stuff on my face again. Hands down the worse makeup I've ever tried.
