Book Description

August 2004
Radio frequency identification (RFID) technology is shaping the future of global supply chains, and smart retail consumer goods companies are seeking opportunities for advanced compliance with industry mandates. The authors draw on their experiences of working with the industry's top suppliers to Wal-Mart to ready them for RFID adoption. They describe how to get started using RFID and present a primer on smart label technology. The book also offers snapshots of what successful RFID migration looks like, including simple, carefully charted steps in each progressive phase of deployment.

"It was a great book! It explains what goes into an RFID printer to make it ready for today's carton-labelling mandates. It creates appreciation for the technology and it really helps to jumpstart your compliance team. The general RFID 101 information was very useful in educating other people within my Company."

There's nothing else like it--it's a one-of-a-kind book that's a well-organized primer on RFID. Packs a lot of useful information inside. The convenient size and format strike a superb balance between too little and too much information. Keep this handy guide handy for instant expertise.

This review is from: RFID Labeling: Smart Labeling Concepts & Applications for the Consumer Packaged Goods Supply Chain (Paperback)
"Excellent first book. If I was a supplier and told I needed to implement RFID, this book would be a tremendous help. It has great topics, it's easy to read, and it has a nice layout and graphics."
