    *Summary*
Pants measurements as labeled, may be exception for pants

    *My Experience*
Ordered 30W x 30L - my usual size. Pants tight on waist and not long enough. Tape-measured actual sizes of pants to be 31" waist & 29.5" inseam.

Concurrently, tape-measured pair of old "30Wx30L" jeans, which fit well. Came-out 32.5" waist x 31" inseam.

Returned 30W x 30L and ordered 32W x 32L. This time minutely loose and long. Washed in hot and dried in hot (not per instructions), pants shrunk 1" waist and length. Now fits great!

    *Conclusion*
My waist & inseam actually not 30Wx30L. Rather, most pants are made wider and longer. Riggs Workwear made as labeled. Washing/drying in hot temp shrinks pants slightly.

    *Suggestion*
Measure actual waist and inseam of body, and order that size or slightly larger; which may not be your usual size.

The pants must be designed by someone who has worked in the construction field. Pockets are designed perfectly, secure but not so secure you can't get into them easily. Reinforced in areas I need extra reinforcement due to daily use. The material is durable but not so heavy they pull off your hips.

It's been over a year now and I am still wearing these ripstop material pants to work frequently and they show little signs of wear no matter how I abuse them. The denim version is not as good as the ripstop version. I already retired the denim ones that I purchased at the same time. Plenty of pockets, warm in winter, cool in summer. Comfortable and roomy fit for anyone who is "pants particular". Well worth the money. If God needed pants, he would be wearing these! I'm buying more!

I purchased my 1st pair of this exact pants 6 months ago. I was too lazy to write a review and also I was not 100% sure back then THAT I WOULD BE SO HAPPY with it that I ended up ordering THIS SAME PAIR as a "spare" and also so that when my other one is in the wash I have this one (and another 3rd pair - different colour) to wear!

Initial impression was that the material was a bit hard and stiff like -- but after a few wears it is better. Again initial impression was it is a solid product - except that it arrived with 'loose threads' (which you can just snip off and no impact to the trousers). It just gave a not so good impression of quality.

But after wearing it for approx 6 months (first pair) I am SO HAPPY with it now - nothing has frayed or worned out. The pockets are nice and large AND DEEP, placed well, and really useful for carrying everyday items. The leather on the right pocket gives it a nice toucvh - and great for carrying my clip multi-tool without me wearing out the pocket rims.

So in short - I LOVE THIS TROUSERS and have 2 pairs in this colour and another (3 pairs in total) and will be ordering more in future. Oh -- the sizing of waist and leg length ie., I wear a 33 x 30 - is spot on for me and makes ordering easy knowing it will "fit" me.

I remember when I used to wear pants you could easily buy at the mall. It was junior high. Then I grew up into a 6'4" 280lb linebacker Americana frame. The unthinkable to major clothing makers, a guy that is both tall and wide. Judging by the sizes stores carry, you are either short and fat or tall and thin. Wrangler understands that big guys have to work and comes to my rescue with a great fitting and durable pair of cargo pants. For some reason, cargo pants by other name brands for casual wear come in a very limited range of sizes. These are great pants, come in my size, and i would wear them in the field or just for casual clothing any day.

I was in the market for a good, strong, hiking and trail pant. Most of the options I came across were too heavy, not durable enough, or didn't have the right pockets. I research, but rarely purchase, clothing online, but these weren't on any shelves in my area so I took the risk and ordered a pair through Amazon, thanks to a "no-fee" return offer on them at the time. Though that guarantee turned out to be a bit of a hassle I was very pleased with the purchase and ended up with three pairs, one of each color.
    Here is my overall analysis:

    Pros:
    1) The pants are lighter and more breathable than I expected.
I have other double-knee pants; they are quite heavy. However, these are made of a durable but lightweight cotton weave that breathes very well. Considering all of the extra pockets and associated material (including Cordura-lined back pockets) I was shocked at how light the pants were.
They represent the pants as being rip resistant ("Ripstop" as they say) and while I haven't seen them handle a rip, I am inclined to believe their claim. The particular weave of the cotton suggests that they would be hard to tear.

    2) Good pockets and belt loops.
The pockets are strong, well-stitched, and located in the right places. The front hip pockets are deep and made of very strong cotton. Not the thin white cotton found in jeans, these are almost canvas-like; very reliable. As I said above, the rear pockets have thick Cordura on the inside as the lining. I am confident that my shop pencil or combination square will not easily rip through as it has with my work jeans.
The cargo pockets only have fullness on the rear seam, which is smart (the front seam lies flat, which prevents brush from catching easily while on the trail).
