Designed for Smooth, Uniform, Stable Performance
The RIKON 14-Inch Bandsaw is driven by a 1-horsepower motor that functions smoothly and powerfully. Precision balanced, nine-spoke, cast iron wheels give the blade uniform operation, and it is evenly controlled with upper and lower ball-bearing guides. The edge-facing thrust bearings also help to extend blade and bearing life while improving the stability of the blade during cutting.

Two Speeds for Different Cutting Applications
With a 6-inch cutting capacity and two speed settings, the RIKON 14-Inch Bandsaw can be used for a variety of applications. The 1,445-feet/minute setting is ideal for hardwoods, some plastics, and non-ferrous metals, while the 2,950-feet/minute setting is used for other woodworking applications.

Large Working Table for Added Convenience
A large, 16-inch by 20-1/2-inch table provides plenty of additional work space during woodcutting operations. T-slots help with larger work pieces, and a micro-adjustable table trunnion helps you square the table to the back of the blade. Additionally, a quick-release table tilt that allows the table to quickly tilt in and out of its home position.

Dust Collection System Keeps Area Clean
The RIKON 14-Inch Bandsaw features a tire-cleaning brush that cleans the lower wheel as it spins, helping prevent sawdust buildup on the wheel and blade. The 2-1/2-inch and 4-inch dust ports help keep dust out of the machine and out of the air by making it easy to attach your dust-collection bag or system.

Customize Your Work and Space
With the optional miter gauge and rip fence, you can effectively perform straight or angle cuts. A convenient tool storage cabinet at the bottom of the unit gives you a place to keep extra blades, jigs, or other tools that you frequently use with your bandsaw.

I ordered this bandsaw through Amazon and it was shipped promptly by freight. The freight company contacted me by e-mail to arrange a scheduled delivery and it was delivered accordingly and the package was in superb condition. I assembled this Rikon 14" bandsaw, just the base needed to be assembled and if you're a an experienced mechanic just like me, it is just a matter of nuts, bolts, washers, and locking washers and only a a couple of screws. Once the base is assembled, it took me 20 minutes, all you have to do is drop the bandsaw on top of the base and drop in 4 long screws with washers and nuts and tighten it up. I also made the adjustments and fine tuning according to the manual that came with it and fine tuning only took me 10 to 15 minutes. Very easy to do and the saw is very easy. I am not a very serious wood worker, just a hobbyist and if you do not need to re-saw big chunks of wood stock, then get this low end standard Rikon model. It can re-saw up to 6 inches which I probably will never have to do. This is my my first bandsaw and it is a must have tool and I highly recommend this product. I know that Rikon will stand right by their product and you should not have any problems with Rikon customer service. Two thumbs up!

This is an impressive looking band saw, very please. It has a large table. I did not buy the guides. I haven't had a chance to use it much yet.
It took a long time to get it. I had to write Amazon and call the trucking company. It was delivered on a busted pallet and a large hole in the side from a fork lift. I do not know how it missed the band saw but it was not damaged. It was packed well with foam. Oh well it was free shipping it is hard to complain to much.
I would suggest adjusting the bottom guides before you mount the cast iron table. I work in a cabinets shop and have used the Grizzly 14". This is 3 times the saw for the money. Very Pleased. I made the decision to buy it from reading the reviews on Amazon never saw one before. Thanks for the reviews.
