RIKON 10-320 14-Inch Band Saw

I ordered this bandsaw through Amazon and it was shipped promptly by freight. The freight company contacted me by e-mail to arrange a scheduled delivery and it was delivered accordingly and the package was in superb condition. I assembled this Rikon 14" bandsaw, just the base needed to be assembled and if you're a an experienced mechanic just like me, it is just a matter of nuts, bolts, washers, and locking washers and only a a couple of screws. Once the base is assembled, it took me 20 minutes, all you have to do is drop the bandsaw on top of the base and drop in 4 long screws with washers and nuts and tighten it up. I also made the adjustments and fine tuning according to the manual that came with it and fine tuning only took me 10 to 15 minutes. Very easy to do and the saw is very easy. I am not a very serious wood worker, just a hobbyist and if you do not need to re-saw big chunks of wood stock, then get this low end standard Rikon model. It can re-saw up to 6 inches which I probably will never have to do. This is my my first bandsaw and it is a must have tool and I highly recommend this product. I know that Rikon will stand right by their product and you should not have any problems with Rikon customer service. Two thumbs up!

This is an impressive looking band saw, very please. It has a large table. I did not buy the guides. I haven't had a chance to use it much yet.
It took a long time to get it. I had to write Amazon and call the trucking company. It was delivered on a busted pallet and a large hole in the side from a fork lift. I do not know how it missed the band saw but it was not damaged. It was packed well with foam. Oh well it was free shipping it is hard to complain to much.
I would suggest adjusting the bottom guides before you mount the cast iron table. I work in a cabinets shop and have used the Grizzly 14". This is 3 times the saw for the money. Very Pleased. I made the decision to buy it from reading the reviews on Amazon never saw one before. Thanks for the reviews.

It shipped on time and I got it the day that it was to be here,I could track it all the way. The saw works just as it should and I have cut about 50 jobs out on it so far.I would recomend it to any one. The free shipping made it a graet by.

This is actually my first home shop bandsaw and I just finished assembling it and testing it a bot on some hard woods I have. I must say that this bandsaw runs very quietly and smoothly. No vibration. Assembly was easy even by myself but could have used a hand lifting it onto the base after assembly. The unit is very sturdy, I think shipping weight was 204 pounds the delivery man told me. I like this saw very much so far. I also ordered the optional rip fence and it was also very quick and easy to assemble. I would give this saw 10 stars if I could but I think 5 will have to do.
