Swindoll is senior pastor of Stonebriar Community Church, chancellor of Dallas Theological Seminary, and the Bible teacher on the internationally syndicated radio program Insight for Living. As we approach the twenty-first cebtury it is becoming more evident that it is up to the faithful to change the direction that the world is headed.

In the ten chapters of his book, Charles R. Swindoll attempts to expound our primary purpose as believers, our major objectives as God's church (no matter the size), our style for ministry (which although it might vary by ministry...that doesn't make another style necessarily wrong), and our essential need for integrity.

Charles Swindoll has suggested ways that we might keep on track in our mission despite pressure and persecution or amidst affluence and indifference.

This book is heavily laden with biblical passages and illustrative examples to support Charles' statements. Although written over a decade ago, this book is highly relevant to the world and the problems that exist in the world today because the bible contains a timeless message and innumerable changeless truths.

The present moment is the time to wake up to reality and our call to action since every day brings God's salvation nearer. God's people are not only to make a difference...they are to be different.

Read this work to inspire and better your spiritual life. It will be time well spent.
