Cooks too hot,
By B. Goldstein "Brian Goldstein" (Seattle, Washington, United States) - See all my reviews (REAL NAME)
This review is from: RIVAL 5 1/2 QUART CROCK POT SLOW COOKER, SVC551KS
Seems well-made enough, however when cooking dishes on the LOW setting, the liquid boils at a moderate rate, instead of a low simmer. This means that meat dishes will overcook if left in the pot for more than a few hours. Unless you use meat with a high fat content it will dry out in this cooker if you set it on low in the morning and then return at the end of the day. Defeats the purpose and main advantage of a crockpot for the working adult.

Cooks too hot is right!!!,
This review is from: RIVAL 5 1/2 QUART CROCK POT SLOW COOKER, SVC551KS
I agree with Brian. This crock pot cooks way to hot even on the low setting. You cannot leave it on all day. If you do leave it on all day the food gets way overcooked, or even scorched. I do not recommend this pot!
