More About the Author

Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall has become widely known as a broadcaster for his uncompromising commitment to real food and honest home cooking. His three series for Channel 4 -- most recently River Cottage Forever -- have earned Hugh a huge popular following. River Cottage Everyday was bought for me as a gift and I love it!
Having been following Hugh and the gang on TV over the years, it is exactly what you'd expect from a River Cottage book. Loads of gorgeous recipes that aren't over complicated and fill you with culinary confidence.
(When you read through, you can almost hear Hugh in your head. :D)

This is, without a doubt, the most used cook book I have, and I wouldn't be without it. I can't recommend it enough!

This is an excellent, accessible cookbook for nearly all ability levels. I use it and give it as gifts for friends and family who are cooking enthusiasts. His show is also great.

As this item was for a gift, I can only comment on delivery etc; It was sent out in good condition & arrived well ahead of the latest date for delivery as stated on order. Feedback from recipient was favourable (my sister, who would be honest about things!!); in fact, she recommends that I purchase a copy for myself... Can't say fairer than that!
