I never review products, so if I'm reviewing a product, that must mean that it was worth me reviewing, and these ear phones are definitely worth me taking a few minutes to describe how wonderful they truly are. Like other reviewers have stated, these ear phones are much louder than other ear phones or head phones when plugged into an IPOD. They are more durable, and the fact that they're water proof is a big plus. Other water proof ear phones are expensive. These are very cheap for the purposes they serve. I will never buy any other ear phones from any other company as long as these ear phones are still being manufactured.

The sound quality is NOT as good as other 5 star reviewers have expressed and they certainly don't compare to my Bose in-ear earphones or any other high end earphone I've heard.

They are inexpensive, waterproof, and stay in my ears when I swim. They are plenty loud and sound better if I put them on under water rather than into dry ears. 5 stars for being exactly as advertised and for super quick delivery.

I recently got these headphones for my ipod nano and they work very well. I totally prefer them over the regular ipod bud headphones -- they won't break as easily and their sound plays A LOT louder than all my previous headphones. The buds for these headphones really go into my ear and stay there, blocking all sound. The wires don't get too tangled up; the lengths are pretty good.

I prefer these over my more expensive earphones. The sound is much louder and they actually fit in my ear better. Also they seem to be much more sweat resistant for working out given their solid design. I lost one of the soft blue sleeves on mine so I'm buying another set. They only thing that I would prefer is if the wires were equal length. Instead the wire for one ear is longer than the other ear. I still think it deserves 5 stars given the low price, waterproof design and louder sound compared to my other ear phones. It's not audiophile quality sound. If you want that you may have to pay 75-500 dollars for Shure or Etymotic earbuds, but these are perfect for me.

Update (3 years later): I have tried many more expensive ear buds and earphones, but I keep coming back to these. The wires do not get brittle over time like some of my other ear phones. I do not use these in the water, but they do a reasonably good job with a lot of sweat while I'm running. The audio quality is good. I just lost my 2nd pair after using them for a couple of years so I'm here to buy another pair. I'm happy with these considering the price. They work well for my active lifestyle. Equal length wires worked better for me while biking, but I have found that this wire style is better for me while running.

FINALLY I've met a pair of waterproof headphones that I love. I concur with all the other reviewers that the ipodaccessory earphones are a five star product. First, they actually stay firmly in the ear. Second, the sound is much louder than other waterproof earphones I've tried in the past. Some have stated that it is not audiophile sound, but I don't really expect that in earphones I use for swimming; the ambient swimming sounds make too much noise. Finally, the low price is just the icing on the cake. After using the pair for a couple of weeks I ordered a second pair as a spare, and for iPod use when not swimming (the sound quality is good enough for me). I'm just happy to have earphones that will stick in my ear without any problems; I must have the kind of ears that don't do well with earbuds of most kinds. Hard to go wrong with this product. I swim 6-8 (freestyle) miles a week, and will have to wait and see how long they will last.

I got these because the headphones that came with my waterproof mp3 player were absolute crap, and these delivered quite well. Occasionally the headphones fill with water, and once this happens there really isn't anything I can do to hear my music/audiobook/whatever. This may just be a result of the headphones not completely sealing in my ear.

Good sound quality, decent volume. Overall, a great product for the money (especially considering they are waterproof).

I've been looking for headphones to use while lap swimming as the ones i were using, which worked great for years, are finally coming apart and I have no idea who made them. I bought these because of the good reviews, but honestly if yoou are going to use them for lap swimming these are not good at all for several reasons:
1. They repeatedly fall out after only 1/2 a lap;
2. The cord is such that it is longer on one side than the other, which makes it really awkward, perhaps leading to the staying in issue as I constantly tug at the wire while swimming;
3. They're really expensive, especially considering I found a pair (after I gave up on these) that works great and much less. The Pyle waterproof headphones work really really well. Pyle PWPE10W Marine Sport Waterproof In-Ear Earbud Stereo Headphones for iPod/iPhone/MP3 Player (White)
I highly recommend the Pyle's (good sound quality, they really stay on, and they're about 1/3 the price) and would skip these if swimming is your thing.

These headphones have been great. I use them with a SanDisk Sansa Clip 4 GB MP3 Player (Silver) and H2O Audio Amphibx Waterproof Armband Case for Apple iPod iPod shuffle (2nd Gen) waterproof armband/case. I was expecting something to go wrong with this setup, but after a month of swimming laps with them at least 3 times a week, I am happy to say they have been problem free. The only real downside with these headphones, as others have mentioned, is the fact that there is no manual or instructions. I have found a way of keeping them waterproof with the included accessories, different from the others, which I think may be the intended method. I flipped the earbuds (larger) inside-out and slid the in-ear earbuds (smaller) over the skinny end of them. I then slid the wider end of this onto the electrical part of the headphones (picture of this is included in item photos). This seems to be very waterproof and I have no worries about water getting into the electrical portion. I realize this may not be clear unless you have purchased the headphones and have the pieces in front of you. Oh, and I am not getting the audiophile sound that others are getting. The stock headphones that came with my player sound better, but this is likely due to the rubber waterproofing earbud that muffles the sound.

I swim with these headphones and my H2OFriendly Waterproof iPod Shuffle. They really sound good underwater and they stay in my ears. And you can't beat the price, don't waste your money on the fancy ones!

I recently bought these to replace the waterproof earphones that I'd had for a couple of years from [...]. They attached to your swimming goggles & in retrospect were excellent. The only reason I didn't order more from them was that they were expensive & I thought I'd try an alternative.

I read the other reviews of these & thought they sounded pretty good. They're not. They're uncomfortable, they leak, they have very poor sound quality. I tried all of the different methods that were mentioned here & none of them made them any better. They may work OK for other activities, but not swimming.

There are no instructions, so everything has been trial & error.

Save your money & buy something else.

I'll be ordering some more of my previous headphones.
