I purchased this mouse primarily because it was small and light (90 grams according to the website). I have been looking for a gaming mouse with more buttons than just the usual 3 plus scroll wheel as well as some DPI adjustment. This mouse fit the bill, and is at least 20% lighter than any competitor I could find. I have large hands (I am 6'4" tall) and started using a mouse regularly when I was in my teens, so I developed a fingertip grip, which provides excellent control, but requires a small, light mouse to use. In fact, one of the best mice I've had was an extremely small wireless laptop mouse.

I previously purchased the Anker gaming mouse, but, while the 3 thumb buttons were excellently ergonomic (you can actually use them with a fingertip grip without compromising mouse aim), it was simply too large and heavy to be effective at around 140 grams and almost 1 cm wider. The Kone Pure, on the other hand, has the problem that the thumb buttons interfere with mouse control with a fingertip grip: they are useful, but not while aiming, making them poor secondary triggers. On the other hand, the two buttons behind the scroll wheel as well as the scroll wheel button itself are quite accessible and do not interfere with control.

As far as feel is concerned, the comparison between this mouse and a standard Microsoft mouse is like the difference between a silk shirt and a wool shirt: it feels smooth, it grips well, it handles sweat, and it has just the right weight to have both good speed control as well as position control. It's the best feeling mouse I've ever owned. The only gripe I have is that I wish it had the buttons and dpi lights of the Kone XTD without the added size and weight as well as more ergonomic thumb buttons like the Anker gaming mouse.

I should note, however, that if I had a palm or claw grip, this mouse would be far too small for me to use effectively.

Pros: This mouse has extremely smooth tracking and with the TCU unit it allows to match your surface pad to the mouse for even smoother operation. The software it comes with is great and well thought out. It saves the settings within 5 seconds. This mouse is a little small....it is better for people with smaller hands. I have medium hands and wish it were just a little larger. The shift states are an excellent feature allowing you to push a shift key and another button to add another assignment or macro to another key.

Cons: Wish this product had a dedicated thumb shift button or easy aim button in a convenient place for a total of 3 side buttons. The two thumb side buttons could be more rounded for a better feel. I had to sand them slightly to take off the knife edge. For long term gaming sessions the mouse could be a little more ergonomic to go the distance.

Overall it has the best electronic performance I've ever seen from a mouse.....but I'd like to see them change the side buttons giving them a better feel and possible add that third shift state button or easy aim to change DPI on the fly.

This mouse is extremely high quality in both looks and feel. I am a claw/palm mix gripper and find this mouse to be very comfortable in hand with average sized hands. I feel that the mouse would be perfect if it were just a bit larger, but overall my hand fits well and am able to press all of the buttons. The material is amazing and soft to the touch and allows for good grip. The laser is top-notch and the software is easy to use. It's pricey, but very pleased with the mouse so far!

Pros:
-Easy to setup/use software
-Comfortable
-High quality (build/laser)

Cons:
-Could be a bit larger
-Pricey

Great sensor, no acceleration, no default prediction, high max speed, lots of customization when it comes to DPI settings. There is a option to customize the lift off distance, but it seems to negatively effect the performance of the sensor, so i would leave it off.

Probably my favorite scroll wheel i've ever tried, and i've tried a lot. The force needed to cause it to register is light, but the distance between registration is fairly long. I think this makes it great for both gaming and web browsing. The distance between registration makes it easy to precisely move it only 1 time, so you don't scroll more then you meant to while gaming. The light force required to register means you can scroll up or down web pages quickly and with little effort.

The ergonomics are great for claw grip. It is right hand ergonomic, but it has a vertical cliff on the right side. I haven't seen in any other mouse like it. You want a vertical side to grip on with claw, so its the only right handed mouse i've seen that is great for claw grip. The sides feel a little slick to the touch, but while gaming they somehow don't feel slick and don't cause any slippage. Its light, only 90g not including cable weight, and in my experience people tend to perform better with light mice.

The cable is braided, it seems like people are fairly split about braided vs rubber cables, i prefer rubber, so its one of the few downsides for me, but others might love it.

I like the aesthetics when i turn off the light. It actually looks like something an adult would use. Not this all black and led light teenage angst bull that almost every other mouse is.
